    摘要: The present disclosure relates to an electrical protection system , including a breaker enclosure and associated terminals, and the methods of use therefor that allow for a circuit breaker or other electrical protection device to be safely added or removed from a circuit while power is supplied to at least one of the terminals. The disclosed enclosure and terminals include a series of interrelated safety features that prevent a user from accidentally completing the circuit from one terminal to another when the electrical protection system would be in an unsafe state. The combination of features described herein allow for a replaceable electrical protection device for equipment under load to be realized, thus improving user safety.

    摘要: A multi-pole circuit interrupter configured to be coupled between an AC source and an electric load electronically detects a hazardous condition associated with energizing of poles and responds to overcome the hazardous condition using a solenoid. The multi-pole circuit interrupter comprises a first switch to energize a first pole on a phase A conductor of the multi-pole circuit interrupter and a second switch to energize a second pole on a phase B conductor of the multi-pole circuit interrupter. The multi-pole circuit interrupter further comprises an electronic solid-state circuit coupled to the phase A conductor and the phase B conductor to detect a line voltage variation and control a current to a device in response to trip an energized pole among the first pole and the second pole if only one of the first pole and the second pole is energized when a user controls a tie bar to turn ON or turn OFF the multi-pole circuit interrupter or when a trip bar fails to trip one of the first pole and the second pole.

In some embodiments, the mechanism includes an adjustment dial to set a current for an instant trip operation; an instant bar provided with an upper portion contactable with the adjustment dial, a shaft portion serving as a rotation shaft, and a lower extending portion downwardly extending from the shaft portion; an electromagnet unit to generate a magnetic attraction force that is proportional to an amount of current flowing on the circuit; an armature rotatable with a lower end portion supported by a shaft, and attracted toward the electromagnet unit by the magnetic attraction force; and a spring for applying to the armature a load varying in a direction of the armature getting away from the electromagnet unit.
