摘要: An elevator shaft element, an elevator arrangement and a method of a construction time use elevator. The elevator shaft element comprises a frame module arranged for receiving an elevator car therein. The frame module is constructed from a transport and/or storage unit, comprising side walls, a bottom wall and a roof wall. The unit is arrangeable vertically such that said side walls, bottom wall and upper wall of the unit define an inner space of the elevator shaft. The side wall, the bottom wall or the upper wall of the transport and/or storage unit is opened at a length more than a floor height of a building for providing an opening for one or more landing doors, the opening having a first side-edge and a second side-edge parallel to longitudinal direction of the transport and/or storage unit. The elevator shaft element further comprises at least one stiffening beam arranged to be fixed to the opening and extending from the first side-edge to the second side-edge.

摘要: A method for installing an elevator system in an elevator shaft of a building in its construction phase uses a machine platform displaceable in the shaft along car guide rails and having a drive machine for moving a suspended elevator car to adapt a usable lifting height of the elevator car to an increasing height of the building by lifting the machine platform to a higher level. The method includes lowering a pre-assembled elevator unit into the shaft by a lifting device, using guide devices that are either mounted on the elevator unit and cooperate with stationarily fixed alignment elements in the shaft, or are fixed in the shaft and cooperate with alignment elements on the elevator unit, to align the unit in a position suitable for fitting guide shoes on the elevator unit and the car guide rails into one another.

摘要: Systems and methods for providing lifting workers up cell towers are disclosed. The system is useful on “stealth” cellular towers that do not have external ladders or climbing pegs for aesthetic reasons. The system can include a cable, a system of pulleys, and an internal or external winch. The cable can include a counterweight to enable the cable to be paid out from a storage position at the top of the tower down to the ground under its own weight. Workers can attach a harness or a basket to the cable. The winch can then pull the cable, worker, and/or basket to the top of the tower. The winch can be installed on site or can be provided by an on-site service vehicle. The system can also include a fall arrest system to prevent falls in the event of a component failure.

摘要: A method of constructing an elevator, the elevator including a hoistway, an elevator car, a first movable support structure in the hoistway above the elevator car, for supporting the elevator car with a roping, and a roof structure, separate from the movable support structure, in the hoistway above the support structure, where the elevator car is used for transporting passengers and/or goods, and thereafter the first movable support structure is lifted higher in the hoistway, and thereafter the elevator car is used again for transporting passengers and/or goods. The method includes lifting the roof structure higher in the hoistway so as to make more room below the roof structure, the roof structure being a movable roof structure, and in that the movable roof structure is lifted in the hoistway taking support for the lift from a second movable support structure mounted in the hoistway above the roof structure.

摘要: The invention concerns an arrangement in the supply of rope to the speed limiter of an elevator. The arrangement comprises at least a braking device for braking the rope being supplied to the speed limiter. As new rope is being fed to the speed limiter, the new rope has been fitted to run via the braking device and under a diverting pulley in the lower part of the elevator shaft and passed further from the diverting pulley over an upper speed limiter pulley to act on the safety gear of the elevator.

摘要: A rotatable building structure (10) contains a vertical central core (14) for supporting suspended floor units (12) surrounding the core. An annular platform (22) extends from the core at corresponding floor units for providing accessibility to and from the central core. The floor units contain a drive mechanism (38, 40, 42) for rotational displacement. The wind load on the exterior side of each floor, and/or horizontal wind turbines that turn around the core but is a separate part of the floor itself, solar panels situated as a roof cover on top of each floor and a wind tool (46) deployable from the floor unit provides alternative wind power assist for rotating the floor units.
