The clutch assembly includes a housing, a clutch pack located within the housing, a piston chamber located within the housing, and a piston located within and slidable relative to the piston chamber. The piston is operably connected to the clutch pack for engaging and disengaging the clutch pack. The clutch assembly further includes a balance chamber that is located within the housing. The lower boundary wall of the balance chamber and the lower boundary wall of the piston chamber are radially separated from one another by a substantial distance.

摘要: A lubrication system for a power transmission unit that supplies oil to a starting clutch in an appropriate amount irrespective of an engagement state of the starting clutch. When the friction clutch is completely engaged or disengaged, a first control valve is brought into a low inflow rate mode, and the second control valve is brought into a low outflow rate mode. When the friction clutch is engaged while causing a slip the first control valve is brought into a high inflow rate mode, and the second control valve is brought a high outflow rate mode.

摘要: A clutch connecting/disconnecting device comprises: a clutch pedal; a clutch cylinder; a depression force transmission mechanism; and an actuator. The depression force transmission mechanism is configured to include a cylinder device. The cylinder device includes an input piston, an output piston, a first oil chamber, and a second oil chamber. A pressure receiving area on the first oil chamber side of the output piston is made equal to a pressure receiving area on the second oil chamber side of the output piston. The first oil chamber and the second oil chamber are connected via an electromagnetic valve connecting and disconnecting between the first oil chamber and the second oil chamber, and the actuator is connected to the output piston in a power transmitting manner.

摘要: Systems, apparatus, and methods to control fluid associated with vehicle clutches are disclosed. A disclosed apparatus includes a drive unit assembly for a vehicle. The drive unit assembly includes a housing and a clutch in a cavity of the housing. Rotation of a drum of the clutch expels a fluid from the cavity. The apparatus also includes a vehicle controller configured to disengage the clutch via an actuator. Actuation of the actuator reduces a flow of the fluid into the cavity. The vehicle controller is also configured to maintain engagement of a vehicle transfer device operatively coupled between a vehicle transmission and the drum such that the drum continues to rotate for a time interval during which the clutch is disengaged.

摘要: A vehicle control apparatus is applied to a vehicle including an engine as traveling drive source and a clutch device in a power transmission path connected to an output shaft of the engine. The vehicle control apparatus causes the vehicle to be in a coasting state by reducing power transmitted in the path by clutch device operation upon satisfaction of a predetermined implementation condition, and cancels coasting state by clutch device operation upon satisfaction of a predetermined coasting cancellation condition including at least an accelerator condition during coasting. The vehicle control apparatus includes a travel determination section determining coasting state of the vehicle, and a clutch control section performing half-clutch control during coasting at least at one of at the beginning of coasting and immediately before coasting is cancelled, the half-clutch control setting a degree of clutch device engagement to an intermediate degree.

摘要: In a hydraulic clutch actuation system for controlling in particular a clutch-controlled compensation unit of a drivetrain of a motor vehicle, in which hydraulic clutch actuation system a hydraulic pump is used for generating hydraulic pressure in a hydraulic fluid for the purposes of clutch actuation by means of a hydraulic clutch actuation device, provision is made whereby the hydraulic fluid is supplied as clutch oil to the friction members of the friction clutch which are to be oiled with clutch oil (cooling and/or lubricating oil). In this way, improved and more reliable oiling of the clutch can be made possible even at low vehicle speeds and under heavy clutch load, wherein, despite this, very rapid dry-running of the cutches, and low power losses generated by the clutch oiling, are ensured.
