    摘要: Power transmission belts have a hydrogenated nitrile-butadiene-PEG acrylate copolymer of 25% to 38% by weight by weight of at least one α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile unit, 40% to 60% by weight by weight of at least one conjugated diene unit and 10% to 25% by weight by weight of at least one PEG acrylate unit derived from a PEG acrylate of the general formula (I) where R is hydrogen or branched or unbranched C1-C20-alkyl, preferably methyl, ethyl, butyl or ethylhexyl, n is 1 to 8, preferably 2 to 8, more preferably 2 to 5 and most preferably 3 and R1 is hydrogen or CH3-, where the hydrogenated nitrile-butadiene-PEG acrylate copolymer, if n is 1, does not contain any further copolymerizable monomer unit having a free carboxylic acid group.

    摘要: A belt and sprocket system comprising a tensile cord disposed within a belt body, at least two teeth projecting from the belt body, the belt comprising a pitch length measured between the at least two teeth on the belt, one of the at least two teeth having a tooth tip and a profile comprising a first radius and a second radius and a third radius disposed between a first linear segment and a second linear segment, the sprocket having a groove for receiving one of the at least two teeth, the groove profile comprising a first radius and a second radius and the third radius and a fourth radius, each of which is connected in series to the others and each of which is unequal in length to the other radii, the tooth having a width that is approximately 35% of a pitch length at 90% of a tooth height so as to result in an interference fit between the one of at least two teeth and groove at 90% of the tooth height; and a volume between the tooth tip and the groove.

    摘要: A drive belt having a main body formed of an elastomeric material, preferably a v-belt or v-ribbed belt, the drive belt including a top layer as belt backing, a power transmission zone having two or more tensile strands as strength members, and also a substructure optionally provided with some profiling preferably having a v-shape or a v-rib profile. The strength members are formed of cords made of mutually twisted plies (final twist), the plies being in turn twisted out of individual yarns (first twist). The cords consist essentially of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and of two plies, the number of turns introduced into the plies twisted into a cord (final twist) and the number of turns introduced into the yarns twisted into a ply (first twist) differing by not more than 10 turns per meter (t/m).

    摘要: An endless rubber power transmission belt such as a CVT belt having a main belt body with a compression portion, tension portion, an adhesion portion, and a tensile cord in contact with the adhesion portion and embedded between the compression portion and the tension portion, angled sides, and a width to thickness ratio on the order of 2 to 3. At least one of the compression portion, the tension portion and the adhesion portion has an elastomer composition that includes a saturated ethylene-alpha-olefin elastomer, a staple fiber, and a pulp fiber, or an elastomer, a high-modulus staple fiber, and a high-modulus pulp fiber. The pulp fiber constitutes less than 40% of the total high-modulus fiber amount.
