摘要: Examples of determining electronic component authenticity via electronic signal signature measurement are discussed. Reference pin identifiers corresponding to pins of a known authentic electronic component are determined. Measurement values corresponding to characteristics of pins of an electronic component are obtained, and pin identifiers based on the measurement values are generated. Accordingly, an indication that the electronic component is authentic can be provided based at least in part on a comparison of the pin identifiers and the reference pin identifiers.

摘要: Described is a method of identifying a short-circuit (SC) like event in a circuit breaker (CB). The method comprises sampling an incoming current to the CB to determine a maximum value of a slope of a curve of the incoming current. The method includes sampling the incoming current again before a level of the incoming current reaches a predetermined, preset, selected, or calculated SC threshold value THSC for the CB. The method involves determining from the sampled incoming current that a value of the slope of the incoming current has changed from its maximum slope value to a lower slope value to thereby determine that the incoming current is indicative of a SC like event and does not comprise a real SC event.

摘要: A method for inspecting a battery for short circuit includes: adjusting batteries, which have been subjected to initial charging and subsequent charging and discharging, to a first device voltage; measuring a pre-leaving voltage; leaving the batteries for a leaving period with terminals in an open state; measuring a post-leaving device voltage; actually measuring an actual measured voltage drop rate; determining whether or not each voltage is short-circuited; and, prior to the determining, estimating an estimating voltage drop rate according to an elapsed time and a leaving period. In the determining, it is determined whether or not each battery is short-circuited using the actual voltage drop rate and the estimated voltage drop rate.

摘要: An arc fault detector includes slew-rate-detection, envelope-step-detection, and first and second controller units. The slew-rate-detection-unit determines a slew rate of the electric current in the first electric line, comparing the slew rate with a threshold, and outputting a slew-rate-detection-signal on a second output when the determined slew rate is higher than the threshold. The envelope-step-detection-unit determines change of an envelope-value of a predefined frequency band of the broadband measurement signal within a predefined timespan, and outputs an envelope-step-detection-signal on a third output when the change is higher than a threshold change. The first controller-unit, connected to second and third outputs, outputs a second arc-detection-signal on a fourth output when it receives slew-rate and frequency-detection signals within a first detection-window. The second controller-unit, connected to first and fourth outputs, outputs a trigger signal when it receives first and second arc-detection-signals for at least a defined total time within a second detection-window.

摘要: An earth leakage detecting device comprises following elements. A first end of coupling capacitor is connected to a current path of power storage connected to load in a state of being insulated from a ground. Voltage output unit generates a periodic voltage that changes periodically, and applies the periodic voltage to a second end of coupling capacitor via impedance element. Voltage measurer measures a voltage at a connection point between coupling capacitor and impedance element. Earth leakage determiner determines presence or absence of an earth leakage between the current path of power storage and the ground on the basis of the measured voltage. Voltage output unit has a preparation period for constantly outputting a potential between a high-side potential and a low-side potential of the periodic voltage before a measurement period for outputting the periodic voltage.

摘要: A battery management system includes a battery monitor, a balancer and a control circuit to control the balancer. The control circuit determines a first voltage value indicating a no-load voltage of each battery, compensates the first voltage value of each battery using a balancing capacity of each battery by a balancing operation for a latest reference time, determines a voltage deviation or a difference between the compensated first voltage value of each battery and a reference voltage value, and detects an internal short circuit fault in each battery by comparing a change amount of the voltage deviation of each battery for the reference time with a threshold.
