    Abstract: A safety control system, method, and computer system is disclosed for sensing a dangerous device and its environment, analyzing the sensed dangerous device and environment. to determine compliance with a safety precaution. Accordingly, an enabling or disabling signal can then be set to the dangerous device. Examples include using a digital camera sensor and computer vision analysis techniques for dangerous devices such as a chainsaw, welding torch, or a forklift.

    Abstract: Techniques described herein generally include methods and systems related to a MEMS-based audio speaker system configured with multiple speaker devices to generate an audio signal that is substantially without a high-band ultrasonic signal. Energy may be transferred to a low frequency sideband of the audio signal output and substantially eliminated from the high frequency sideband of the audio signal by passing an acoustic carrier signal through two different modulators. One modulator may implement a first modulation function on the acoustic carrier signal to generate a first audio signal, where the first modulation function may be based on a target acoustic output signal for the MEMS-based audio speaker system. The second modulator may implement a second modulation function on the acoustic carrier signal to generate a second audio signal, where the second audio signal may be the Hilbert transform of the first audio signal.

    Abstract: Techniques for user profile-based system level management (SLM) and creation of system level agreements of a wireless device are generally disclosed. In some examples, a predictor may be provided to predict a future task to be performed by a wireless device, including resource requirements, based at least in part on a profile of a user and at least one of a profile of a communication partner the user, an operational recommendation, a performance model or a current state. An optimizer/analyzer may be provided to generate a plurality of instructions to configure the wireless device, based at least in part on the predicted future task and resource requirement, and a quality of service requirement of the wireless device, in anticipation of having to perform the predicted task. In various examples, the predictor and the optimizer/analyzer may form a local or a remotely disposed system level manager.

    Abstract: Technologies are generally described for systems, devices and methods effective to select program instructions for a hardware finite automaton on a multi-core processor that includes two or more cores. A hardware finite automata manager may identify executable instructions associated with a particular one of the cores of the multi-core processor. The hardware finite automata manager may determine that the hardware finite automaton is available to be used. The hardware finite automata manager, in response to the determination that the hardware finite automaton is available, may select at least one program instruction based on the executable instructions. The at least one program instruction may be configured to modify the hardware finite automaton to pre-fetch data. The hardware finite automaton manager may transmit the at least one program instruction to the hardware finite automaton.
