Abstract:
In accordance with the present invention, a method that utilizes 3D overall view (O-view) for interactively interpreting geophysical and geological data to produce instantaneously sub-surface geologic maps, geologic features, cross-sections and models, are disclosed. The system provides the user a new capability of interactively interpret seismic data for immediate response. The system allows users to make any corrections interactively on instantaneous basis that is necessary as the interpretation progresses.
Abstract:
A process for preparation of ceftiofur sodium of formula (Ib) possessing high stability and having purity of more than 97% and substantially free of impurities, is disclosed. The process comprises: i) reacting cefotaxime or its salts or its esters of formula (VI) wherein R3 is hydrogen, an alkali or alkaline earth metal, or an easily hydrolysable ester, with thiofuroic acid, employed in a molar proportion of 1.5 to 3.0 moles per mole of compound (VI), in the presence of acetonitrile as solvent and in the presence of large excess of methanesulfonic acid, employed in molar proportions of 12 to 18 moles per mole of compound (VI), and at a temperature of between −5° C. to 30° C. to give after necessary neutralization of the alkali or alkaline earth metal or removal of the ester group of the 4-carboxylic acid function, wherever applicable, ceftiofur of formula (Ia), possessing high stability and having purity of more than 97% and substantially free of impurities; ii) converting the ceftiofur of formula (Ia) thus obtained to its salt with an organic amine by treating a solution of ceftiofur in a mixture of water and a water-miscible organic solvent with an organic amine, at a temperature ranging from −10° C. to 10° C.; iii) reacting of the amine salt thus obtained with a sodium metal carrier in a mixture of water and water-miscible organic solvent and in presence of sodium hydrogen sulfite to give ceftiofur sodium of formula (Ib).
Abstract:
A method for initiating a remote trace route includes establishing a communication session between a first endpoint and a second endpoint. The method also includes detecting at the first endpoint a quality impairment in a communication sent from the second endpoint. In response to detecting the quality impairment, the method includes sending a request from the first endpoint to the second endpoint for the second endpoint to initiate a trace route from the second endpoint to the first endpoint. Upon receiving the request at the second endpoint, the method includes initiating a trace route from the second endpoint to the first endpoint.
Abstract:
Clot-specific streptokinase proteins possessing altered plasminogen characteristics, including enhanced fibrin selectivity. The kinetics of plasminogen activation by these proteins are distinct from those of natural streptokinase, in that there is a temporary delay or lag in the initial rate of catalytic conversion of plasminogen to plasmin. Also disclosed are processes for preparing the proteins.
Abstract:
A method for adaptive media quality monitoring includes monitoring at least one metric of a call between at least two endpoints and detecting a threshold crossing event via the monitoring of the at least one metric. The method also includes executing a threshold crossing action based on detecting the threshold crossing event. The threshold crossing action comprises monitoring at least one additional metric of the call.
Abstract:
Sterically hindered phenol and phosphite based compounds, represented by a formula selected from I-III: and their use as antioxidants in a wide range of materials including, but not limited to, food, plastics, elastomers, composites and petroleum based products is disclosed herein.
Abstract:
Methods for preparing microparticles having reduced residual solvent levels. Microparticles are contacted with a non-aqueous washing system to reduce the level of residual solvent in the microparticles. Preferred non-aqueous washing systems include 100% ethanol and a blend of ethanol and heptane. A solvent blend of a hardening solvent and a washing solvent can be used to harden and wash microparticles in a single step, thereby eliminating the need for a post-hardening wash step.
Abstract:
A diagnostic server software component for an automated banking machine is provided. The diagnostic server is operative to periodically retrieve diagnostic messages from a nonvolatile memory of the machine and store the diagnostic messages on the hard drive of the machine. The software is further operative responsive to communication from an external computing device to send diagnostic messages stored on the hard drive to an external computing device. The software may further be operative to route transaction diagnostic messages between the machine and a remote host banking system. The software may retrieve the diagnostic messages directly from a specified memory address of the nonvolatile memory. The software may periodically communicate with terminal control software of the machine to cause the terminal control software to retrieve the diagnostic messages from the nonvolatile memory.
Abstract:
A core file derived from an application crash is created. The application belongs to a source platform and is run on a target platform. The application is emulated on the target platform. In response to the crash occurring, detecting whether the crash corresponds to the failure of a process corresponding to the emulated application. The crash process is mediated by intercepting information relating to the failure of the emulated application and writing a core file corresponding to the failure of the emulated application running on the source platform. A dynamic binary translator performs the steps and debugs an emulated application as if it had crashed and dumped a core file on its native platform.
