摘要: In each node constituting a storage system, there is at least one of a storage area (user area) in which a user data set is stored and a storage area (parity area). For the node having the user area, there is user part difference information including information indicating whether or not to be in presence of difference for each user area of the node. For the node having the parity area, there is parity part difference information including the information indicating whether or not to be in the presence of difference for each parity area of the node. Out of the parity part difference information, the information corresponding to the parity area is the information indicating the presence of difference when there is the information indicating the presence of difference in the storage area of any of the data sets used for generating the parity stored in the parity area.

摘要: A method for application migrating from a first cluster to a second cluster. The method may include detecting application migration request from the first cluster to the second cluster for performing application migration; identifying first volumes associated with the first cluster that are used by the application; establishing data copying from the first volumes of a first storage device associated with the first cluster to second volumes of a second storage device associated with the second cluster; determining if a copy condition is met based on the data copying; for meeting the copy condition, stopping the application on the first cluster; flushing uncopied data from the first volumes to the second volumes; determining whether the flushing of the uncopied data is completed; and for the flushing of the uncopied data being completed, deploying the application on the second cluster.

摘要: An object is to efficiently solve a quadratic programming problem having a k-hot constraint (k is a positive integer) for binary variables. A preferred aspect of the invention is an optimization method for, using an information processing apparatus, solving a quadratic programming problem in which one or more independent k-hot constraints are imposed on binary variables, the information processing apparatus including a processor, a storage device, an input device, and an output device. The information processing apparatus relaxes the binary variables into continuous values by adding correction values to a nonlinear coefficients of the binary variables on which the k-hot constraints are imposed, and the information processing apparatus executes a solution search while satisfying the k-hot constraints by executing a state transition such that a sum of a set of continuous variables on which the k-hot constraint is imposed is constant.

摘要: A system for presenting information to a human to avoid dangers such as collisions, without hindering the respective movement of the human and an autonomous machine. The human-machine cooperative control system manages each movable region so that the human and the autonomous machine do not collide. The system comprises a moving body position measurement unit comprising at least sensor for measuring the position of moving bodies, including a human and a machine; a moving body motion prediction unit for predicting future motion of a subject moving body on the basis of a moving body position; an exclusive management unit for planning a movable region for each moving body on the basis of a planned route for the unmanned machine and a moving body predicted motion obtained from the moving body motion prediction unit; and an information presentation unit for presenting information about the movable region for the human.
