    摘要: The present invention discloses an efficient electrostatic particle-into-liquid sampler (EPILS). The EPILS collects an aerosol sample in the dry mode and extracts it in the wet mode to prevent sampling artifacts. In the dry mode, a first stage utilizes carbon brushes as discharge electrodes to charge aerosol particles which are then collected on the cylinder wall by the electric field setup between the high-voltage central metal rod and the grounded cylinder in the second stage. In the wet mode, DI water is injected into the EPILS in a pulsation manner by opening and closing solenoid valves intermittently, which dislodges aerosol particles deposited on the cylinder wall effectively to become a liquid aerosol sample. The liquid aerosol sample is then analyzed for chemical compositions manually or automatically.

    摘要: The present invention provides a system and a method for service continuity in heterogeneous wireless networks, which comprises a handover decision module and a session continuity module. The handover decision module is responsible for maintaining link layer association and network layer reachability in according to the underlying network conditions to fulfill the service requirement of applications. When acting as a sender, the session continuity module will select transmission path(s), reestablish the transport connection(s) and tag packets with session IDs and sequence numbers. When acting as a receiver, the session continuity module will identify and reorder packets using session IDs and sequence numbers, regardless of the IP addresses and ports of the packets. To sum up, the present invention can provide service continuity and multipath transmission for network devices.

The network system includes network devices, host devices and a control apparatus. The network devices are connected together. A part of the network devices are equipped with wireless access networks of the same SSID, and each of the host devices is connected to one of the network devices. The control apparatus is connected to the network devices. When a first host device of the host devices is changed to connect with a second network device from a first network device, the control apparatus controls the network devices to return an address resolution response packet to the first host device in response to an address resolution request packet transmitted from the first host device, so as to maintain an IP address of the first host device.

    摘要: A charge pump circuit and a phase-locked loop (PLL) system using the same are provided. The charge pump circuit includes an upper current source, a lower current source and a plurality of switches. The switches are turned on or off by an error signal to increase or decrease the control voltage of the voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) and further control the frequency of the output signal of the VCO. When the reference frequency signal matches with the divided frequency signal from the VCO, the upper current source and the lower current source are bypassed to decrease the voltage across the MOSFET, thereby minimizes the influence of the leakage current on the control voltage of VCO. In this way, the output jitter can be reduced due to smaller magnitude of peak-to-peak voltage on the control voltage of VCO in the PLL system caused by the leakage current of the MOSFET.

    摘要: Visual or photic stimuli generating methods, devices and control systems for inducing steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) from human viewers without causing discomfort to the viewers or distorting the embedding images are disclosed. The control system includes a stimuli-generating device and an electroencephalography (EEG) sensing device. The stimuli-generating device includes a first and a second light source. The first light source generates a flickering light with a first wavelength while a second light source generates another flickering light with one or more wavelength(s) differ from that of the first one. Together, the light sources generate visual/photic stimuli flickering above their critical flicker fusion threshold while maintaining the colorfulness and hue of the embedding images. At least one electrode of the EEG sensing device is connected to each viewer, configured to receive and analyze his/her EEG signals in order to detect and determine his/her responses to the stimuli.
