Provided is an access mediator system for mediating convergence services of communication and broadcasting using a non-communicative appliance. The access mediator system includes: a non-communicative appliance access interface unit performing an interface function so as to converge a non-communicative appliance comprising an interface supporting image and voice multimedia data but not including a communication function; a broadband convergence network access interface unit performing an interface function so as to access a broadband convergence network connected to various service provider servers via wire and wireless interfaces; and a main processor accessing a selected service provider server via the broadband convergence network access interface unit to mediate the selected service provider server and the non-communicative appliance.

Provided are a system and method for interworking Service Capability Features (SCFs) and protocols in an open service gateway. The system includes service capability features that generate and process various protocol messages, and a protocol stack that enables an interwork with a communications network. The protocol stack includes: one or more units that maintain various protocols, a unit that performs data connection and transmits and processes messages, and a unit that manages the various protocols. In the protocol stack, protocol identifiers that differentiate the protocols from one another, and message identifiers that differentiate service capability features from one another are stored in the unit that manages the various protocols.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method of improving the quality of a speech codec are provided. In the method, a first energy of a signal decoded by a core codec is calculated, and a second energy of a signal decoded by a low-band enhancement mode is calculated. Then, when the first energy is less than a first threshold value or less than a product of the second energy and a second threshold value, a size of the decoded signal is scaled. Accordingly, generation of a quantization error with respect to a silence segment is reduced.

An apparatus and method of improving the quality of a speech codec are provided. A method of authentication processing of a node (S-CSC-FE/I-CSC-FE (Serving Call Session Control Functional Entity/Interrogating Call Session Control Functional Entity)) within a service network for bundle authentication between service and access networks, the method including: receiving first authentication information about access authentication of a terminal from a first node within the service networks; requesting to receive second authentication information from a second node within the service network based on the first authentication information; and comparing the first authentication information with the second authentication information to authenticate the terminal.

A method and apparatus for measuring the quality of a video provided in an IP network based media service is provided. The apparatus for measuring Quality of Experience (QoE) guaranteed real-time Internet Protocol (IP)-media video quality, includes: a receiver receiving a transmission video provided through an IP network service platform and an original video corresponding to the transmission video, and extracting frames of the transmission video and the original video; a detector comparing the frames of the transmission video and the original video in real time to obtain a difference between the frames of the transmission video and the original video and detecting a matching segment between the transmission video and the original video; and a measurement unit calculating a QoE parameter using the frames of the transmission video and the original video which correspond to the matching segment.

The present invention relates to a long-acting human follicle-stimulating hormone formulation having improved in vivo duration and stability, comprising a human follicle-stimulating hormone conjugate that is prepared by covalently linking human follicle-stimulating hormone with an immunoglobulin Fc region via a non-peptidyl polymer, and a preparation method thereof. The long-acting human follicle-stimulating hormone formulation of the present invention maintains in vivo activity of human follicle-stimulating hormone at a relatively high level and remarkably increases the serum half-life thereof.
