Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a body extremity temperature change monitoring system and method. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a body extremity temperature change monitoring system and method, which can monitor a temperature change by recognizing a body extremity and measuring the body temperature of the recognized body extremity. The body extremity temperature change monitoring system comprises: an image data acquisition unit that acquires body extremity image data including a hand or a foot; a segmented area generation unit; and a body extremity temperature map generation unit that generates a body extremity temperature map using temperature data for each of the segmented areas, wherein the body extremity is defined to include base parts having a palm and a foot sole, and branch parts having fingers and toes.

Abstract: This application relates to a method of manufacturing a cooling pipe for a powertrain of an electric vehicle. The method may include preparing a powdered composite material by ball-milling aluminum alloy particles and carbon nanotube particles. The method may also include preparing a multilayer billet containing the powdered composite material and comprising a core layer and two or more shell layers surrounding the core layer. The method may further include extruding the multilayer billet to produce a pipe-shaped extrusion. The core layer is made of the powdered composite material or an aluminum alloy, the outermost shell layer of the two or more shell layers is made of an aluminum alloy, and the remaining shell layers are made of an aluminum alloy. This application also relates to a cooling pipe manufactured by the method, an electric vehicle motor and an electric vehicle battery pack casing including the cooling pipe.

Abstract: A device and method for reviewing literature by using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) is proposed. The device may include a pre-processing unit extracting text data for modeling, and a modeling unit automatically classifying topics as many as a set number (K) and generating a probability distribution of the topics by literature and a probability distribution for words by topic. The device may also include a clustering unit updating the number (K) of the topics, an interest analysis unit confirming trends by topic over time, and a generality analysis unit quantitatively confirming a research scope of each specific topic. The device may further include a similarity analysis unit quantitatively confirming a similarity between the topics, a network analysis unit quantitatively confirming a correlation between the topics, and a display displaying the trends by topic over time, research scope of each specific topic, similarity between the topics, and correlation between the topics.

Abstract: This application relates to an apparatus and method for analyzing the damping characteristics of a carbon composite material. Damping analysis of carbon composite material using modal damping ratio is a conventional method that cannot accurately represent viscous damping coefficient variation but has errors in a sensitivity analysis. The damping characteristics of the carbon composite material were described by a parallel combination of the viscous damping coefficient of carbon fiber and binding matrix. The damping characteristics of the carbon composite material were expressed with the sensitivity index calculated only from the viscous damping coefficient of the carbon fiber by removing the viscous damping coefficient of the binding matrix that does not change depending on the carbon fiber direction. Various embodiments improve accuracy in analyzing the damping characteristics of carbon composite material.
