Abstract:
An ultra mobile personal computer includes a monitor, a keyboard apparatus, and a micro-touchpad. The monitor is coupled on the keyboard apparatus such that the monitor could be shifted relatively to the keyboard apparatus to display a keyboard panel built inside. In addition, the micro-touchpad is arranged on the keyboard apparatus.
Abstract:
A processor includes a plurality of execution units configured to execute instructions, a pre-decoder configured to sieve out a power-switching instruction from the instructions, and a power controller configured to control the status of the execution unit based on the power-switching instruction. The power controller includes an identification decoder configured to generate identifications respectively corresponding to the execution units from the power-switching instruction, and a power manager configured to switch the execution unit corresponding to the identification. Particularly, the power-switching instruction includes a power-on instruction and a power-off instruction. The processor further includes a plurality of reservation tables each configured to store the instruction to be executed by one of the execution units, and a turn-off signal is not conveyed to the power manager until the reservation table corresponding to the execution unit to be turned off is empty.
Abstract:
A remote control positioning system adopting radio frequency (RF) positioning technology and displaying positioning information of the remote control on a display is provided. When a user is searching for the remote control, the remote control positioning system can be used to obtain the positioning information from a screen of the display, and the user can rapidly determine a position of the remote control according to environment images captured by an image capturing module. Thus, the time for searching by the user is saved, and an effect of precise tracking is realized as well.
Abstract:
An auto management for a power system is disclosed. The power system disposed on a motherboard. The motherboard comprises a microcomputer controller, a first low power consumption module and a second low power consumption module. The microcomputer controller disposed on the motherboard is adopted for outputting a power control signal to the first low power consumption module or the second low power consumption module and inputting the power control signal to a main system from the first low power consumption module or a sub-system from the second low power consumption module when the microcomputer controller senses a signal of an external power supply.
Abstract:
A length-adjustable cabinet includes at least a first enclosure and a second enclosure. The second enclosure can be telescoped into and fitly received in the first enclosure to reduce an overall length and volume of the cabinet, or pulled outward relative to the first enclosure to a predetermined extended position to increase the overall length of the cabinet for the latter to provide enhanced low-frequency sound effect. And, a diaphragm is mounted to a free open end of the first or the second enclosure.
Abstract:
The invention is directed to an operating method for an image-sensing unit and the image-sensing device using the same. The image-sensing unit comprises a photogate, a photodiode assembled with the photogate, and a first switch. One terminal of the first switch is coupled to a reference voltage, and the other terminal thereof is coupled to the photodiode. The operating method comprises: (a)Applying a first voltage to the photogate, (b)Turning on a first switch, (c)Turning off the first switch at a first time, (d)The photodiode being irradiated by a light, (e)Stopping applying a first voltage value to the photogate at a second time, (f)Applying a second voltage to the photogate at a third time, and (g)Maintaining the turn-off state of the first switch until a fourth time. The operating method for an image-sensing unit enables the image-sensing device using the same to enhance the dynamic range thereof.
Abstract:
An anthracene compound for an organic electroluminescent device, having formula (I) or (II) wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, and R6 are each individually an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group having 6 to 20 carbon atoms, an unsubstituted or substituted heteroaryl group having 6 to 20 carbon atoms, or an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, wherein the substituent is C1-10 alkyl, C1-10 alkoxy, or halogen.
Abstract:
Orally ingestible bioactive agents are disclosed which contain a triglyceride matrix and one or more polyphenols that improve the bioavailability of the bioactive agent. In particular non-limiting examples, the bioactive agent is a ubiquinone (such as Coenzyme Q), the triglyceride matrix is a soybean oil matrix, and the composition further includes additional anti-oxidants.
