Abstract: A tire 2 includes a pair of heads 10, a carcass 12, a pair of sidewalls 6, a pair of chafers 8, and a tag member 26 including an RFID tag 56. Each of the beads 10 includes an inner apex 40 and an outer apex 42. A carcass ply 48 included in the carcass 12 includes a ply body 50 and a pair of turned-up portions 52. The tag member 26 is in contact with the outer apex 42 on a radially outer side of an end PF of the turned-up portion 52, the RFID tag 56 is located between an outer end PG2 of the outer apex 42 and an outer end PB of the chafer 8, and an outer end 26s of the tag member 26 is located radially outward of the outer end PB of the chafer 8.

Abstract: A tire comprises a tread portion provided with blocks including a first block provided with a plurality of sipes. Each sipe comprises a zigzag portion in a cross section perpendicular to the sipe length direction, and a zigzag portion in a cross section parallel to the ground contacting top surface of the first block. Each of the sipes is provided with at least one tie bar protruding radially outwardly from the bottom of the sipe and terminating without reaching the ground contacting top surface. The sipes includes a first sipe having the tie bar at a first position in the tire axial direction, and a second sipe having the tie bar at a second position in the tire axial direction different from the first position.

Abstract: A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion provided with a band layer disposed radially inside a tread rubber provided with a first circumferential groove. Cords of the band layer are a hybrid cord formed by twisting together a first filament and a second filament having an elastic modulus lower than that of the first filament. In a region radially inside the first circumferential groove, a maximum thickness t1 of topping rubber on the radially outer side of the band cords is not more than 1.0 mm; a minimum distance d1 from the bottom of the first circumferential groove to the radially outer surface of the band layer is not more than 2.0 mm; and a distance d2 from a groove edge of the first circumferential groove to the radially outer surface of the band layer is not more than 15.0 mm.
