    摘要： Many computing system environments require continuous availability and high operational readiness. The ability to find, diagnose, and correct actual faults and potential faults in these systems is a high priority. By combining a continually updated database of computing system performance with the ability to analyze that information to detect faults and then communicating that fault information to correct the fault or provide appropriate notification of the fault results in achieving the goals of high availability and operational readiness. FIG. (1) shows how the data collectors, fault detectors and policy actions are combined to meet those goals.

    摘要： Described is a method for retrieving a user document using behavioral attributes associated with the user document. One or more relevant documents in a user library are determined in response to a text search of documents in the library. Each relevant document has a text relevance. A behavioral relevant is determined for each of the relevant documents based upon an associated behavioral attribute. A user relevance is determined for each of the relevant documents in response to the text relevance and the behavioral relevance of each relevant document. A list of relevant documents is generated and ordered according to user relevance.

    摘要： A system for automatically providing notifications to a user regarding interesting content, which automatically collects information regarding persons that are important to the user, as well as indications of important content sources. The important content sources are then monitored for actions performed by one of the important persons for the user, and notifications are generated to the user in the event that the important person performs an action on a document or other information item stored in the important content source. Important persons for a user may be determined through a communication application used by the user, such as an electronic mail program, instant messaging program, or the like, in response to indications of persons that the user has either sent messages to and/or received messages from. The notifications may be provided through the user's communication application, by electronic mail messages, instant messages, or the like. The notification may include a name, identifier, or other indication of the important person that performed the action on the important content source. Notifications may be provided to the user in response to any specific kind of action by the important persons on an important content source, such as create operations, modify operations, and/or delete operations.

    摘要： A dental prosthesis is made by first forming a model of a patient's dentition. A three dimensional digital data corresponding to the surfaces of the model is then created. Based on this data, a three dimensional digital data file is then created substantially corresponding to the dental prosthesis to be manufactured. The three dimensional digital data of the dental prosthesis to be manufactured is next transmitted to automated prototyping equipment, and using the automated prototyping equipment, a wax pattern of the dental prosthesis is manufactured based upon this three dimensional digital data of the dental prosthesis. Finally, using this wax pattern in the lost wax investment casting process, the dental prosthesis is made. Prior to investment casting, marginal edges of the wax pattern are adjusted manually.
