摘要: A method of producing polymers of an isolated spider silk protein involves providing a solution of said spider silk protein in a liquid medium at pH 6.4 or higher and/or an ion composition that prevents polymerisation of the spider silk protein. The properties of the liquid medium are adjusted to a pH of 6.3 or lower and an ion composition that allows polymerisation of the spider silk protein. The spider silk protein is allowed to form polymers in the liquid medium, and the resulting spider silk protein polymers are isolated from the liquid medium. The resulting polymers are useful as fibers, films, foams, nets or meshes.

摘要: Apparatus and methods enable active compensation for unwanted discrepancies in the superconducting elements of quantum processor. A qubit may include a primary compound Josephson junction (CJJ) structure, which may include at least a first secondary CJJ structure to enable compensation for Josephson junction asymmetry in the primary CJJ structure. A qubit may include a series LC-circuit coupled in parallel with a first CJJ structure to provide a tunable capacitance. A qubit control system may include means for tuning inductance of a qubit loop, for instance a tunable coupler inductively coupled to the qubit loop and controlled by a programming interface, or a CJJ structure coupled in series with the qubit loop and controlled by a programming interface.

摘要: The invention concerns a method and an arrangement for stacking timber packages in layer that uses a transfer arrangement comprising mobile carrier planes. The carrier planes in turn form a direct continuation of an input transporter in order to receive layers fed from this transporter by being caused to lift from below a complete layer from the input transporter and displacing the layer in over the stacking table. After that, the carrier planes are withdrawn from the stacking table while the layer of timber is scraped off from the carrier plane or, the stacking table is arranged to move downwards. The transfer arrangement uses a first, a second and a third carrier plane which are arranged to move mutually in a cycle in such a manner that one pair of two consecutive carrier planes is located at the same time at a position above the stacking table.

摘要: The invention relates to a milling tool intended for chip-removing machining, comprising a basic body rotatable around a geometrical centre axis and a plurality of peripherically spaced-apart, detachable cutting inserts, which separately are securable in insert pockets adjacent to chip channels formed in the basic body, the individual cutting insert having at least one edge formed between a chip surface on the top side of the cutting insert and a clearance surface along the periphery side of the cutting insert, the tool geometry being markedly positive so far that the individual insert pocket is arranged to secure the individual cutting insert in a position in which the chip surface is inclined in relation to the centre axis while forming a positive angle of inclination. Characteristics of the invention is the combination that the angle of inclination between the chip surface and the centre axis is within the range of 25-28°, that the cutting edge cross section-wise has an arc-shape having a radius of curvature (ER) within the range of 5-20 μm, that the clearance surface of the cutting insert is formed with a clearance bevel, which extends from the cutting edge in the direction of the bottom side of the cutting insert and transforms into a main clearance portion, that the clearance angle (γ) of the clearance bevel is larger than 0°, but smaller than 3°, that the clearance angle (γ) of the main clearance portion is larger than the clearance angle (γ) of the clearance bevel, that the extension of the clearance bevel from the cutting edge to the main clearance portion is within the range of 0.05-0.30 mm, that the chip surface is formed with a reinforcement bevel, which extends from the cutting edge in the direction of the centre of the cutting insert and transforms into a main chip portion, the angle of inclination of the reinforcement bevel in relation to the centre axis being larger than −5°, but smaller than +5°, and that the extension of the reinforcement bevel from the cutting edge to the main chip portion is within range of 0.05-0.15 mm. The invention also separately relates to a milling insert as well as a solid milling tool.
