摘要: A brake torque control device obtains inertia torque Tine based upon an equation of motion (Tine=Tw−Ft·Rt) about the rotation of a tire based upon a wheel torque Tw according to a brake torque exerted on the tire, road friction force Ft and a radius Rt of the tire. When the inertia torque Tine exceeds a predetermined reference value, road friction force Ft at this time is set as estimated maximum road friction force Fmax. The instructed brake torque is calculated under the condition that the value that is obtained by adding the predetermined value corresponding to the inertia torque Tine to the torque Fmax·Rt based upon this estimated maximum road friction force Fmax is set as an upper limit value of the instructed brake torque. This allows to clearly set, as one value, the target value of the instructed brake torque upon an ABS control, thereby being capable of more accurately executing the pressure-increasing control and pressure-reducing control of the brake fluid pressure.

摘要: A vacuum booster apparatus used for a brake apparatus positively decreases a degree of opening of a throttle valve when it is required while an unnecessary decrease in the degree of opening of the throttle valve is positively prevented. A first pressure chamber of a vacuum booster is connected to an intake pipe of the engine on a downstream side of a throttle valve. A second pressure chamber of the vacuum booster is selectively connectable to one of the first pressure chamber and atmosphere. The vacuum booster boosts an operating force applied to a brake operating member based on a pressure difference between the first pressure chamber and the second pressure chamber. A throttle-opening-degree control device controls a negative pressure in the first pressure chamber by controlling the degree of opening of the throttle valve. The throttle-opening-degree control device decreases the degree of opening of the throttle valve only for a limited time when the negative pressure in the first pressure chamber is smaller than a predetermined necessary negative pressure determined by an operating-force relating amount related to the operating force applied to the brake operating member.

摘要: A redundant recording disk device includes a first logical sub-disk and a second logical sub-disk. Mirrored redundant data are recorded such that a recording position on the first logical sub-disk and a recording position on the second logical sub-disk are positions on a corresponding radius and have a phase difference of 180 degrees around respective rotation axes of the disks with respect to one data. Therefore, the practical use of the disk device can be continued even when one recording surface is not usable because of a fault, and the access speed of the disk can be increased when there is no fault since the mirrored data which have been written with a predetermined phase-offset into the different recording surfaces may be read out in a parallel manner.
