摘要： A shock absorber has a cylinder tube coaxially arranged with a strut tube for defining therebetween an annular reservoir chamber and an upper reservoir chamber which is separated from the annular reservoir chamber. A first fluid path is defined for permitting fluid flow from a lower fluid chamber in the cylinder tube to an upper fluid chamber and the annular reservoir chamber in response to bounding stroke of vibration. A second fluid path is also defined for permitting fluid flow from the lower fluid chamber and the annular reservoir chamber to the upper fluid chamber and the upper reservoir chamber, in response to rebounding stroke of vibration. A first flow restriction means is disposed in the first path for generating damping force in response to bounding stroke of vibration, which damping force is variable depending upon the magnitude of the bounding stroke in essentially linear variation characteristics. A second flow restriction means is also disposed in the second path for generating damping force in response to bounding stroke of vibration, which damping force is variable depending upon the magnitude of the bounding stroke in essentially linear variation characteristics.

摘要： A central heat source system is used as the method of air-conditioning individual spaces, and warm water in the range of 15.degree. to 25.degree. C. is produced by a warm water generator having a heating device and a cooling device. The warm water is circulated among the warm water generator and a plurality of heat pumps connected thereto. In a certain room, the heat pump can be operated to perform cooling by using the warm water as cooling water, while in another room the heat pump can be operated to perform heating by using the warm water as heat source water. In addition, when the heated warm water used for cooling and the cooled warm water used for heating are returned to the warm water generator and are mixed therein, the thermal energy gained or lost by the respective warm water can be offset with each other, so that it is possible to reduce the amount of energy necessary for maintaining the warm water at 15.degree. to 25.degree. C., thereby making it possible to effect energy-saving in air-conditioning.

A TV program recording preset program under control of an I/O control program receives input of a user-selected start time of a given TV program. In turn, the TV program recording preset program extracts from a program list memory not the user-selected time but the start and end times of the TV program relative to the selected time, and retrieves information about all TV programs to be broadcast between the extracted start and end times so as to create a table of TV programs available in the designated time slot. The table is output to a display unit for display under control of the I/O control program.
