    摘要: An extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUVL) mask structure and associated method of formation. A first conductive layer is provided between a buffer layer and an absorber layer such that the buffer layer is on a multilayer stack. The multilayer stack is adapted to substantially reflect EUV radiation incident thereon. The absorber layer is adapted to absorb essentially all of EUV radiation incident thereon. A mask pattern is formed in the absorber layer. Formation of the mask pattern in the absorber layer is accompanied by inadvertent formation of a defect in the absorber layer. The defect is subsequently repaired. The mask pattern may be extended into the first conductive layer and into the buffer layer in a substantially defect-free process that exposes a portion of the multilayer stack. A second conductive layer may be provided on the absorber layer, wherein the mask pattern is also formed in the second conductive layer.

    摘要: A pressure relief and drain valve includes a poppet valve on a valve body movable in a primary valve chamber between closed and open positions and spring biased to the closed position. A secondary valve slidable on the poppet valve cooperates therewith and with the valve body in defining a variable volume secondary chamber within the primary chamber. Passages in the poppet valve connect the fluid circuit upstream of the poppet valve with the secondary chamber and drain orifices in the poppet valve connect the secondary chamber with a sump. When the net fluid pressure force on the poppet valve in the opening direction exceeds the spring force, the poppet valve opens for pressure relief. The fluid flows over a suction surface on the poppet valve when the latter is open and the pressure drop at the suction surface proportional to the flow velocity is communicated by the passages to the secondary chamber so that the valve opens further and the pressure drop across the valve is substantially constant. When the fluid circuit is unpressurized the secondary valve opens the drain orifices so that the circuit drains through the passages, the secondary chamber and the orifices.

    摘要: An improved transmission particularly adapted for use with a constant speed engine. The transmission has an input shaft to receive power from the engine. A generator is associated with the transmission, and the generator is driven by the engine. A motor is powered by the generator. The transmission also employs a compound planetary gear set having two planetary gear sub-sets. Each planetary gear sub-set has an inner gear member and an outer gear member, each of which meshingly engage a plurality of planet gear members. One gear member of each planetary gear sub-set is conjoined. A second gear member of each planetary gear sub-set is also conjoined. The input shaft is operatively connected to one of the conjoined gear members, and the motor is operatively connected to the other of the conjoined gear members. The output shaft is operatively connected to the third gear member in the first planetary gear sub-set, and the third gear member in the second planetary gear sub-set is selectively connected to ground.

    摘要: A variable, four-mode, input-split, parallel, hybrid electric transmission for a vehicle. An input shaft receives power from the vehicle engine, and an intermediate output shaft delivers power to drive the vehicle. First and second motor/generators are employed as are energy storage devices, such as batteries, for accepting power from, and supplying power to, the first and second motor/generators. A control unit regulates power flow between the energy storage devices and the motor/generators as well as between the first and second motor/generators. A compounded planetary gear set and an intermediate planetary gear set are used. Each planetary gear sub-set and the intermediate planetary gear set has an inner gear member and an outer gear member, each of which meshingly engage a plurality of planet gear members supported on a carrier. The input shaft is operatively connected to one of the gear members in the compounded planetary gear set, and the intermediate output shaft is operatively connected to two of the other gear members in the compounded planetary gear set as well as at least one gear member in the intermediate planetary gear set. One of the motor/generators is connected to at least one remaining gear member in the second planetary gear sub-set, and the other motor/generator is selectively connected to the intermediate power output shaft as well as to a common gear member in both planetary gear 12 sub-sets.
