Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to methods of attaching leaflets to a valve frame and valves made using the same. In an embodiment, a method of making an implantable prosthetic valve is included. The method can include compressing at least a portion of valve leaflet tabs, inserting the compressed valve leaflet tabs into commissural slots of a valve frame, and expanding the compressed valve leaflet tabs. Other embodiments are also included herein.

Abstract: A replacement heart valve system may include a replacement heart valve implant including an expandable framework configured to shift from a radially collapsed configuration to a radially expanded configuration and a plurality of valve leaflets attached to the expandable framework at a plurality of commissure posts, and an implant delivery system including a handle and an elongate shaft assembly, the elongate shaft assembly including a tubular member fixedly attached to the handle, and an implant holding portion configured to constrain the expandable framework in the radially collapsed configuration. The elongate shaft assembly includes an anti-migration element configured to shift between a delivery configuration and an open configuration. The anti-migration element is configured to prevent proximal movement of the expandable framework relative to the tubular member in the open configuration.

The intermediate sheath may include a tissue grasping mechanism at the distal end of the intermediate sheath, the tissue grasping mechanism being configured to hold and stabilize the first papillary muscle for penetration and securement of the first anchor to the first papillary muscle.

The braided stent may be translatable between an elongated configuration and a deployed configuration by movement of the inner shaft relative to the outer shaft. The braided stent may include a valve having two or more leaflets disposed within the braided stent. Adjacent leaflets of the two or more leaflets may form longitudinally-oriented commissures proximate a perimeter of the valve, the commissures being fixedly secured to the braided stent along their length.
