    摘要: A system includes an anchor, a delivery tool, and a data-processing system. The delivery tool is configured to deliver the anchor to the heart of the subject, and to drive the anchor into tissue of the heart. The data-processing system is adapted to, subsequently to the delivery tool delivering the anchor to the heart, receive, via the delivery tool, a first electrical signal from the anchor, at the tissue, the anchor serving as an electrode. The data-processing system is adapted to receive, via the delivery tool, a second electrical signal from a distal part of the delivery tool within the heart. The data-processing system is adapted to, responsively to both the first signal and the second signal, determine a location of the anchor within the heart, and provide an output indicative of the location. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

A latching feature of the swivel is configured to removably snap on to the latching feature of each of the plurality of sizer heads and is configured to permanently snap on to the latch.

    摘要: A prosthetic tricuspid remodeling annuloplasty ring having two free ends that are upturned in the inflow direction to help avoid unnecessary leaflet abrasion. The free ends are desirably separated across a gap that is large enough to reduce the risk of passing sutures through the conductive system of the heart, yet not too large that support of the septal leaflet of the tricuspid annulus is degraded. The ring may define an inflow bulge in the first segment and/or an inflow bulge in the fourth segment that help the ring conform to the natural bulges created by the adjacent aorta, thereby reducing stress and the potential for ring dehiscence.

    摘要: A prosthetic aortic valve includes an annular, annulus inflow portion that is designed to reside in or near the patient's native aortic valve annulus, and an annular, aortic outflow portion that is designed to reside in the patient's aorta downstream from at least a portion of the valsalva sinus. The annulus inflow portion and the aortic outflow portion are connected to one another by a plurality of connecting struts that are confined to regions near the commissures of the patient's native aortic valve. The connecting struts are designed to bulge out into the valsalva sinus to help anchor the prosthetic valve in place. The valve is circumferentially collapsible to a relatively small diameter for less-invasive delivery into the patient. The valve circumferentially expands to a larger operational diameter when deployed at the implant site.
