Abstract: The present application provide a power supply control method for a power conversion apparatus, where the power conversion apparatus is configured to conduct a power conversion between a charging apparatus and a power battery, the method includes: conducting a power-on self-test with the charging apparatus of auxiliary power by the power conversion apparatus; determining a power supply priority order of the charging power and the power battery on the basis of a state parameter of the power battery under the condition that the self-test of the power conversion apparatus succeeds; determining the one of the charging power of the charging apparatus and the power battery with a higher power supply priority as a current working power of the power conversion apparatus by the power conversion apparatus. The method of the present application can provide a stable working power for the power conversion apparatus without additional power supply device.

The power supply guarantee system includes: a main control module, configured to send a received wake-up time to a timing device; a high voltage power module, configured to power the timing device according to electrical energy in a high voltage battery pack; the timing device, configured to set a wake-up clock according to the wake-up time, start timing when the BMS enters sleep, and send a discharge instruction to the high voltage battery pack when the timing reaches the wake-up time; and a power conversion module, configured to convert high voltage electrical energy into low voltage electrical energy, and use the low voltage electrical energy to power the BMS, where the high voltage electrical energy is output by the high voltage battery pack according to the discharge instruction.

Abstract: This application provides a method, an apparatus, a system for detecting battery thermal runaway, and a battery management unit. The method includes: obtaining an output signal of an air pressure sensor located in a battery pack, and obtaining parameter information of the battery pack; determining state information of the air pressure sensor based on the output signal of the air pressure sensor; and generating an alarm signal indicating occurrence of thermal runaway in the battery pack based on the state information of the air pressure sensor and the parameter information of the battery pack. In this application, the thermal runaway detection for the battery pack may be implemented by considering parameter information of both the air pressure sensor and the battery pack, improving the reliability of the thermal runaway detection for the battery pack, reducing the probability of false positives and false negatives, and improving driving safety.

The switch circuit includes multiple legs and the multiple legs are connected to the traction battery in parallel. The method includes: receiving a heating signal sent by a battery management system of the traction battery; and controlling, according to the heating signal, at least one of the multiple legs to form a short-circuit loop of the traction battery, the short-circuit loop being configured to discharge the traction battery and heat the traction battery during the discharging process.
