Abstract: The present application relates to a battery pack. The battery pack comprises: two or more battery modules, each of the battery modules comprising a plurality of battery cells which are stacked in sequence, wherein each of the battery cells is provided with an explosion-proof valve; the battery pack further comprising a thermal alarm device and a battery management system, wherein the thermal alarm device is arranged corresponding to the explosion-proof valve; the thermal alarm device and the battery management system are connected to form a circuit; and a break of the circuit can be caused when the explosion-proof valve is exploded. The present application provides the thermal alarm device, and when thermal runaway occurs in the battery module, a circuit break is formed between the thermal alarm device and the battery management system, thus the thermal runaway status of the battery pack can be accurately reflected.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a battery module and a battery pack. The battery module includes a battery assembly, including a plurality of battery cells arranged in an array, wherein each of the battery cells includes a vent; a circuit board, including a plurality of sampling terminals connected to the battery cells and being capable of collecting electrical parameters and/or temperature parameters of the battery cells; and a thermal cable, located between the battery assembly and the circuit board and fixedly coupled to the circuit board, wherein a thermal circuit is formed inside the thermal cable, and the thermal circuit can provide a prompt signal indicating a bursting of the vent of any of the battery cells. When a thermal runaway of any of the battery cells occur, the corresponding vent bursts to heat the thermal cable, and the thermal cable can quickly sense a temperature change.

Abstract: This application relates to a battery box, a battery, and an electric apparatus. A first end plate, a second end plate, and a first middle frame jointly enclose a semi-accommodating space with an opening at one end, and a height of the semi-accommodating space in an entry direction of a battery module entering the space is smaller than a height of the battery module in the direction, that is, the semi-accommodating space is shallower than the battery module. In this way, when the battery module is placed into the semi-accommodating space, it is less likely to fall and cause damage to the battery module. After the battery module is safely placed into the semi-accommodating space, a second middle frame is spliced with the first middle frame to seal the semi-accommodating space, thereby encapsulating the battery module.

Abstract: This application provides a method, an apparatus, a system for detecting battery thermal runaway, and a battery management unit. The method includes: obtaining an output signal of an air pressure sensor located in a battery pack, and obtaining parameter information of the battery pack; determining state information of the air pressure sensor based on the output signal of the air pressure sensor; and generating an alarm signal indicating occurrence of thermal runaway in the battery pack based on the state information of the air pressure sensor and the parameter information of the battery pack. In this application, the thermal runaway detection for the battery pack may be implemented by considering parameter information of both the air pressure sensor and the battery pack, improving the reliability of the thermal runaway detection for the battery pack, reducing the probability of false positives and false negatives, and improving driving safety.
