Abstract:
A method of storing, analyzing and accessing video data from the surveillance cameras operated by multiple, unrelated users is provided. Data storage and analysis is performed by an independent system remotely located at a third party site, the third party site and the users connected via a network. Users access stored video data using any of a variety of devices coupled to the network. In one aspect, users submit configuration instructions which govern how long their data is to be stored, the frequency of data acquisition/storage, data communication parameters/protocols, and video resolution. In another aspect, users remotely obtain from the third party system a graphical view of the video data acquired from a particular camera, the graphical view showing the activity monitored by the camera versus time. In yet another aspect, users submit zone configuration instructions to the third party system. In yet another aspect, users remotely submit rules of analysis, such as time-based and/or shaped-based rules, to be applied to their acquired video data by the third party system.

A method of dewatering a fiber web in a paper machine, includes the steps of: dewatering the fiber web in a forming section to a solids content of greater than approximately 10%; displacement pressing the fiber web in an air press assembly to a solids content of greater than approximately 40%; and through air drying the fiber web in at least one air press assembly to a higher solids content.
Abstract:
A trapping device for trapping non-dispersing cloths in a toilet bowl is disclosed. The trapping device comprises a strap and a plurality of hooks. The trapping device may be installed in a trapway of the toilet bowl. The strap has a first end, a second end, and a middle portion, wherein the first end includes a first tab extending perpendicular to the strap and the second end includes a second tab extending perpendicular to the strap, and the middle portion is rounded. The plurality of hooks extend from an inner wall of the strap. The strap is made of a strap material that is resilient to bend and springs back to its previous shape, such as a stainless steel or a high density polyethylene.
Abstract:
A device for use with a bed having a frame and a supporting surface includes a flexible sheet with a tether strap connected to the sheet and extending from the sheet. The flexible sheet has opposed top and bottom surfaces, with the top surface having a high friction material with a higher coefficient of friction as compared to the bottom surface, which includes a low friction material. The tether strap is configured for connection to the frame of the bed to secure the sheet in place. A system incorporating the flexible sheet may also include an absorbent pad configured to be placed on the top surface of the sheet, where the high-friction top surface resists sliding of the absorbent pad, as well as one or more wedges having a base wall that the wedge rests on and a ramp surface configured to confront the sheet when the wedge is placed under the sheet. The base wall and the ramp surface may also contain high friction and low friction materials, respectively.

A generally rectangular siding panel having a front and rear faces is provided. The siding panel has at least one protrusion disposed along at least one of the faces, wherein the at least one protrusion provides an air gap between the siding panel and a face of a second siding panel when the siding panels are installed in a siding panel assembly. A generally rectangular siding panel having a front and rear faces is also provider where the siding panel has at least one recess or cut spaced along at least one of the faces, wherein the at least one recess or cut provides an air flow path between the siding panel and a face of a second siding panel when the siding panels are installed in a siding panel assembly.
Abstract:
An hourglass-shaped cavitation chamber is provided. The chamber is comprised of two large spherical regions separated by a smaller cylindrical region. Coupling the regions are two transitional sections which are preferably smooth and curved. The chamber can be fabricated from either a fragile material, such as a glass, or a machinable material, such as a metal. An acoustic driver assembly is coupled to one end of the cavitation chamber, preferably using a threaded means (e.g., bolt or all-thread/nut), an epoxy joint, a diffusion bond joint, or a braze joint. If desired, a second acoustic driver assembly can be coupled to the second chamber end. Preferably the driver or drivers are attached such that their central axis is coaxial with the central axis of the cavitation chamber. Coupling conduits which can be used to fill/drain the chamber as well as couple the chamber to a degassing and/or circulatory system can be attached to one, or both, ends of the chamber. When used, preferably the conduit or conduits are attached off-axis.

A system and method for controlling the flow of fluid for an inflatable mattress having multiple, non-interconnected inflatable chambers. Each inflatable chamber can be selectively inflated and deflated to vary the pressure exerted from the mattress surface to selected areas of a human body, thereby preventing the formation of decubitus ulcers.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a fiber web having a three-dimensional surface structure and a strength. The method includes the steps of pre-imprinting the fiber web, pressing the fiber web and forming the fiber web. The pre-imprinting step pre-imprints the fiber web at a dry content of less than 25% with an imprinting band using a first pressure field. The pressing step presses the fiber web onto the imprinting band using a second pressure field. The pressing step further dewaters and dries the fiber web fixing the three-dimensional surface structure and the strength. The forming step forms the fiber web on the imprinting band.
