摘要： A multi-purpose personal watercraft for deployment in different configurations as desired by a user. The multi-purpose personal watercraft comprises a base frame defining a watercraft base which includes selectively foldable side extensions, a removable aft floor board, and a bow portion, as well as two opposing side floats with which the base frame is selectively integrated. When in place, the opposing side floats defines form the multi-purpose personal watercraft's U shaped hull and enable the selective attachment of a rudder assembly. With respect to propulsion, base frame is configured to enable the selective deployment of pedal propellers, a user's legs, or a trolling motor. A dual steering system enables the control of up to two discrete steering mechanisms from a single position on the watercraft.

摘要： A system for providing distributed control of a resource with centralized configuration management. A network of distributed workstations is provided for controlling a resource such as a large mainframe computer. Server workstations for applying control commands to the resource are attached to each resource, preferably through redundant connections. Remote client consoles are defined which may be connected to the server for control of that resource. Server and resource location and primary and fallback connection paths are maintained by a centralized control server. Upon client console request, the central control server causes the server workstation associated with a particular resource to establish a control session between the server and the client console. A record of each dynamic connection is maintained by the central control server. Upon failure of a client console, the server accesses central server fallback information and establishes a fallback connection with an operational client console. Failure of a server workstation causes the resource to establish a link with a backup server which is then able to recover all sessions with client consoles by accessing the dynamic configuration database of the central controller. Configuration data may be updated dynamically taking effect when the next request for establishment of a session is made. In an alternate embodiment, interprocess security is optionally implemented in control servers and hardware resource servers.

摘要： A composition is provided that includes in combination fertilizer particles inclusive of a plant nutrient component and a binder inhibitive of particle disintegration. The fertilizer particles are mixed with and dispersed in concert with bait particles attractive to a pest and inclusive of a pesticide or pest reproduction control agent. The bait particles remain sufficiently devoid of adherent fertilizer particle fragments so as to remain attractive to a target pest. Composition homogeneity is maintained by density matching between the fertilizer particles and bait particles or compensating for differences in density by sizing the lower density particles larger than the higher density particles.
