Abstract: Systems and methods described herein provide one or more processors configured to execute program instructions to cause the one or more processors to receive camera images of a scene including a portion being lit by the searchlight, receive terrain data from a terrain database, generate an augmented/virtual reality scene based on the camera images and the terrain data, display, via a headset display, the augmented/virtual reality scene, track gaze and head movement using headset sensors, output tracking data based on tracked gaze and head movement, and output instructions for controlling at least one function of the searchlight based on the tracking data.

Abstract: In some examples, a system includes a memory configured to store a threshold level for collision prediction. The system also includes processing circuitry configured to determine that a collision likelihood at a potential collision location between the vehicle and an object is greater than or equal to the threshold level. The processing circuitry is also configured to cause one or more lights mounted on the vehicle to direct light towards the potential collision location or towards the object in response to determining that the collision likelihood for the vehicle is greater than or equal to the threshold level.

Abstract: A method for assisting pilots during an approach to an airport with a cold temperature restriction which includes: programming on a computing device, at least one processor to implement an algorithm of an app to automatically detect a temperature restriction of a particular airport with the cold temperature restriction and to calculate a cold temperature compensation based on data from published notices to airman (NOTAMs) and to generate data of a corrected altitude of the aircraft during an approach to the cold temperature restricted airport based on a first component of sensor data contributed from the current flight approach and based on a second component of data of NOTAMs; receiving sensor data to the at least one processor deployed on the aircraft; an associated memory for acquiring the published data; and executing an algorithm to calculate a corrected cold temperature altitude when approaching the airport with the cold weather restriction.

The systems include a database storing voice profiles, a communication system configured to receive audio data from each of the mobile platforms that include speech from operators of the mobile platforms, a display system configured to provide a common display in each of the mobile platforms that includes a terrain environment and mobile platform icons for each of the mobile platforms on the terrain environment indicating the locations thereof, a controller configured to, by a processor: analyze the speech of the audio data to identify in real-time a first of the operators that is currently speaking by correlating the speech with one of the voice profiles, identify a first of the mobile platforms associated with the first operator, and indicate, on the common display, in real-time that the audio data is associated with the first mobile platform.

One method involves automatically identifying an input element based at least in part on an audio communication with respect to the vehicle, identifying one or more constraints associated with the input element, obtaining a limited command vocabulary for the input element using the one or more constraints, and automatically constructing a contextual speech recognition graph for the input element prior to user selection of the input element using the limited command vocabulary. Thereafter, subsequently received audio input is recognized using the contextual speech recognition graph that was automatically and prospectively generated.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for assisting operation of a vehicle using speech recognition and transcription to provide a conversation log graphical user interface (GUI) display that consolidates communications with respect to the vehicle. One method involves receiving a data message from a system onboard the vehicle and generating a graphical representation of the data message within the conversation log GUI display, wherein the graphical representation of the data message includes a selectable element and is displayed on the conversation log GUI display concurrently with a graphical representation of a transcription of an audio communication with respect to the vehicle. The depicted data message and transcription are chronologically positioned with respect to one another in accordance with a timestamp associated with the data message. The conversation log GUI display dynamically updates in response to selection of the selectable element.
