Abstract: This application discloses a communications method and apparatus. The method includes: obtaining, by a terminal device, downlink synchronization signal block index information; receiving, by the terminal device, information used to indicate an association relationship between a random access resource RO and a synchronization signal block; and accessing, by the terminal device, a network device based on the information on an RO corresponding to the synchronization signal block index information. This application further discloses a corresponding apparatus. A time-frequency location of a random access resource associated with each downlink synchronization signal is indicated, so that the terminal device obtains, through downlink synchronization, a time-frequency location for sending an uplink random access signal, to avoid a blind attempt of the terminal device and a beam mismatch of the network device occurring when the network device receives a random access signal, thereby improving efficiency.

Abstract: This application provides a random access method, a terminal, and a network device. The random access method includes: determining, by a terminal, whether a resource used for random access conflicts with a resource used for receiving a downlink signal; and if the resource used for the random access conflicts with the resource used for the downlink signal, preferentially using the conflicting random access resource for receiving the downlink signal but not for the random access. This avoids a conflict between receiving of the downlink signal and sending of an uplink random access preamble.

Abstract: The present application discloses an uplink reference signal transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: determining, by a terminal, a time domain resource sending position of an uplink reference signal, where there is a guard interval at a first end of the uplink reference signal; and after arriving at the time domain resource sending position, switching, in a first sequence, transmit beams in different time slices in M time slices at a first time interval corresponding to the uplink reference signal, to transmit the uplink reference signal, and switching, in a second sequence, transmit beams in different time slices in the M time slices at a second time interval corresponding to the uplink reference signal, to transmit the uplink reference signal, where the uplink reference signal includes uplink reference signals transmitted in the M different time slices.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for signal compensation, including: receiving, by a receiver via N receiving antennas, a plurality of channel estimation preamble signals sent by M transmitting antennas of a remote transmitter; determining, by the receiver, channel estimation parameters according to the first pilot signals of the M transmitting antennas contained in the plurality of channel estimation preamble signals; receiving, by the receiver, data signals and second pilot signals sent on a first data symbol by the M transmitting antennas; determining, by the receiver, channel phase shift parameters according to signals arrived at the N receiving antennas which come from the second pilot signals; and determining, by the receiver according to the channel estimation parameters and the channel phase shift parameters, signal compensation for the data signals arrived at the N receiving antennas. Accuracy of demodulation for transmitted data to a certain extent is improved.
