Abstract: A communication method includes determining, by a terminal device, that a second new data indicator (NDI) is toggled in response to a first condition being met. The second NDI is associated with a second resource. The method also includes receiving, by the terminal device, a second data. The second data is transmitted on the second resource. The second resource is associated with a second hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier (ID). The first condition includes the second resource is scheduled by using downlink control information (DCI) or physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scrambled by a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI), among one or more other suitable conditions.

Abstract: This application provides for a data transmission method, an apparatus, and a device. The method may be applied to a relay communication system. The method includes a first network device that receives a first data packet. The first data packet is a data packet of a first multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS), and the first data packet carries first information. When second information of the first network device matches the first information, the first network device sends the first data packet to a terminal device that accesses the first network device. The second information is preconfigured for the first network device. In this way, the MBMS is transmitted in the relay communication system.

Abstract: This application provides a paging method and apparatus. The paging method may be applied to a terminal device including a first subscriber identity and a second subscriber identity, where the first subscriber identity corresponds to a first paging occasion, and the second subscriber identity corresponds to a second paging occasion. The method includes: First, the terminal device determines that a paging occasion collision occurs between the first paging occasion and the second paging occasion, and then the terminal device notifies a first access network device that the paging occasion collision occurs, where the first access network device corresponds to a first cell in which the terminal device is located by using the first subscriber identity.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a data transmission method and a device, and relate to the field of communication technologies, to resolve how a network device sends a data packet and how each terminal device receives the data packet when a communication manner between the network device and a plurality of terminal devices is switched from a unicast manner to a multicast manner. The method includes: A network device sends first indication information to a first terminal device, where the first indication information includes a first sequence number SN, and the first indication information is used to indicate the first terminal device to receive a data packet in a multicast manner. The network device sends the data packet to the first terminal device and a second terminal device in the multicast manner based on the first SN.

Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes receiving a first parameter by a terminal device from a first device, where the first parameter corresponds to first wake-up signal (WUS) configuration information in at least one piece of WUS configuration information, and the first WUS configuration information includes information about a first WUS time-frequency resource. The terminal device determines the first WUS time-frequency resource based on the first parameter, and receives a first WUS from a second device on the first WUS time-frequency resource, where the first WUS is used to wake up the terminal device. In this method, the terminal device can determine the first WUS time-frequency resource based on the first parameter received from the first device, and then receive the first WUS from the second device on the first WUS time-frequency resource.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for sending a multicast control channel are provided. One example method includes a terminal device receiving first configuration information, where the first configuration information indicates N modification periods, and N is an integer greater than 1. The terminal device determines, based on the first configuration information, a modification period corresponding to a first service, and monitors a modification notification of an MCCH based on the modification period corresponding to the first service. Therefore, in some instances, services with different latency sensitivities can correspond to different modification periods to meet latency requirements of different services and ensure an electricity saving effect of the terminal device.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to communication methods, apparatus, and systems. In one example method, a first apparatus determines a first status protocol data unit (PDU), where the first status PDU is used to indicate a receiving status of at least one data PDU from a second apparatus, and the at least one data PDU is transmitted by the second apparatus in a multicast mode. The first apparatus sends the first status PDU to the second apparatus.

Abstract: This application provides a fake network device identification method and a communications apparatus. An uplink message sent by a terminal device is forwarded to a first network device via a second network device. After receiving the uplink message, the first network device generates a downlink message for the uplink message, performs security processing on the downlink message based on first time information, and/or sends the downlink message to the second network device. The second network device sends, to the terminal device, the downlink message on which the security processing is performed. The terminal device performs security verification on the received downlink message, and/or identifies whether the second network device is a fake network device. This helps improve communication security.
