Abstract: This application provides an example method and an example apparatus for generating hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) information. The method includes receiving, by a terminal device, a first message sent by a network device. The first message is used to indicate that there are a plurality of active bandwidth parts (BWPs) in a cell or that there are M BWP groups in the cell, the M BWP groups may be obtained by dividing, by the network device, N configured BWPs, any BWP group includes an active BWP, M and N are integers greater than or equal to 2, and M is less than or equal to N. The method also includes generating, by the terminal device, HARQ information based on the plurality of active BWPs or the M BWP groups.

Abstract: This application provides example communication methods, terminal devices, and network devices. One example method includes configuring, by a network device, a first bandwidth part BP and a second BP for a terminal device. The network device then sends a first TB to the terminal device. When the first BP and the second BP correspond to a same physical parameter, the first TB is mapped onto the first BP and the second BP. When the first BP and the second BP correspond to different physical parameters, the network device further sends a second TB to the terminal device, where the first TB is mapped onto the first BP, and the second TB is mapped onto the second BP.

Abstract: A method for determining time information is disclosed. The method includes: obtaining, by a network node, information sent by a terminal device; and determining, by the network node, at least one of the following based on the information: a first time interval between downlink scheduling and downlink data transmission, a second time interval between the downlink data transmission and a feedback message sent by the terminal device after the terminal device receives downlink data, and a third time interval between uplink scheduling and uplink data transmission, where the information may include at least one of a subcarrier spacing, an operating band, and a bandwidth that are supported by the terminal device, and further include a first smallest value and/or a second smallest value and/or a third smallest value corresponding to the at least one item. Therefore, flexibility and accuracy of determining the time information are improved.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide a signal transmission method and apparatus, and is applied to a multi-band communications system. Under the method, a terminal reports bandwidth capability information of a first frequency band in a plurality of frequency bands to a radio access network node. An operating band of the terminal includes the first frequency band, the bandwidth capability information of the first frequency band indicates a bandwidth capability of the terminal in the first frequency band, the bandwidth capability in the first frequency band is not less than a first threshold, and the first threshold is determined based on a maximum bandwidth capability of the terminal, the first frequency band, or a subcarrier spacing of the first frequency band. The terminal can send or receive a signal on a resource allocated by the radio access network node based on the bandwidth capability information.
