Abstract: An underfloor storage system is disclosed. The storage system comprises a frame with a storage box and at least one raise/lower mechanisms to raise and lower the storage box. A raise/lower mechanism include at least one winch driven pulley system. The storage box includes a floor. Raising the storage box provides access to underfloor storage. In a preferred embodiment, each winch driven pulley system provides an ideal mechanical advantage of 4 and includes an additional pulley which is configured to pivot relative to the winch and thereby adjust the orientation of the pulley to the winch as the line tracks across the winch during wind up or let out of the line.

Abstract: The invention is a system for optimizing a trailer path and a tow vehicle path. The system includes image sensors configured to capture images of a trailer and images of a path of travel both in front of and behind the trailer and tow vehicle, a weight determination system, accelerometers that sense acceleration of the tow vehicle and/or the trailer, a data input device configured to receive input data, and a processing device. The processing device includes a processor and non-volatile memory. The processor is configured to receive image data from the image sensors, receive weight data from the weight determination system, receive accelerometer data from the one or more accelerometers and receive the input data from the data input device. Additionally, the processor is configured to determine a trailer path and a tow vehicle path based on the image data, accelerometer data, and the input data. The processor is also configured to determine a safety parameter, communicate the trailer path and tow vehicle path to a user or vehicle control system, thereby prompting adjustments to the tow vehicle path and or acceleration when the trailer path or tow vehicle path is not optimum.

Abstract: A photovoltaic modular system is disclosed. One or more photovoltaic (PV) modules are connected together with embedded parallel wiring that facilitates the sharing of power from a plurality of PV modules to power one or more electrical devices. Control electronics within each individual PV module allows the isolation of PV modules that are shaded or otherwise not productive. No external connecting wiring, or devices are required to make the system functional. All wiring, connectors and electronics are integral and embedded within each individual PV module. The PV modules have adhesive on the back to allow them to be installed without additional mounting hardware. All PV module system components are completely encapsulated together in one modular component.

Abstract: An automated window mechanism is disclosed, including a motor secured to a window, the window being in a frame and wherein the motor causes the window to move relative to the frame in two directions: an open direction being defined as a direction toward which movement of the window relative to the frame causes the window to be more closed, and a closed direction defined as a direction opposite the open direction. The mechanism also includes a transmission component that transfers power from the motor to movement of the window relative to the frame, the transmission component having a backup defined as a distance the transmission component can move from a first point at which further movement in the open direction will cause the window to begin moving in the open direction, and a second point at which further movement in the closed direction will cause the window to begin moving in the closed direction. The mechanism also includes a processor and memory storing one or more computer-readable instructions executable by the processor to perform acts. The acts include instructing the motor to move the window relative to the frame, and upon the window reaching a desired position relative to the frame, reversing the transmission component into a neutral range within the backup to release energy stored in the transmission component.

Abstract: A label and methods and devices for detecting an environmental factor that exceeds a threshold are described. The label includes a plurality of codable areas. The first portion of the plurality of codable areas are coded according to a first value and the second portion of the plurality of codable areas are coded according to a second value. The label additionally includes an environmentally triggered bubble positioned in one of the plurality of codable areas. The environmentally triggered bubble changes between the first value and the second value when ruptured. As a result, the code that the label represents changes when the environmentally triggered bubble ruptures.

Abstract: A mechanism for opening and closing an overhead door includes a drive loop coupled to the overhead door, a motor with a drive shaft and a drive wheel for driving the drive loop. A one-way bearing couples the drive shaft to the drive wheel, which one-way bearing is configured to transmit torque from the motor to the drive wheel, as the motor rotates the drive shaft in a first rotational direction to raise the overhead door, and configured so that torque is not transmitted to the drive wheel as the motor rotates the drive shaft in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction. As a result, the motor applies torque through the one-way bearing to raise the overhead door and to support the weight of the overhead door while lowering the overhead door.

Abstract: Disclosed is a winch. The winch includes a motor. A driveshaft that is coupled to the motor, and the motor rotates the driveshaft. End plates at opposite ends of the driveshaft are configured to support the driveshaft between the end plates, and to allow rotation of the driveshaft. A spool is fixed to the driveshaft such that the motor rotates the spool by rotating the driveshaft. A line is attached to the spool and rotation of the driveshaft causes the spool to wind the line onto the spool or unwind the line from the spool. At least one support member is coupled between the end plates. The at least one support member is generally parallel with and spaced apart from the rail, and the support member is fixed to the end plates such that the support member keeps the end plates and drive shaft in alignment.

Abstract: The invention is a mobile fueling system for vehicles that includes a fleet of mobile fuel stations, such as trucks. Each mobile fuel station has at least one fuel reservoir adapted for storing either liquid fuel, gaseous fuel and electric fuel. The system also includes a data processing hub and a network providing wireless data communication between vehicles, the fleet of mobile fuel stations, and the data processing hub. The data processing hub receives vehicle data from vehicles and fleet data from each mobile fuel station over the network. The vehicle data is transmitted from a customer's smart device running a customer app. The data processing hub is configured to dispatch via the network the mobile fuel stations in the fleet to vehicles in need of fuel based on at least three of the following factors: vehicle fuel level, a vehicle fuel request, vehicle location, a vehicle owner stored fueling location preference, a vehicle owner service request, reservoir fuel contents, reservoir fuel level and mobile fuel station location.
