The data on the second tool path is composed of a position vector and a direction vector of the tool for use when the work, which has been cut according to the first tool path, is further cut. A computer uses the first tool path data and second tool path data to calculate a position vector and a direction vector of a medium tool path that is between the first tool path and second tool path.

摘要： A numerically controlled curved-surface machining unit equipped with three linearly moving axes and, at least, one rotary axis, including a simultaneous multiple-axis control NC machine numerically controlled by a numerical control unit with a numerical control NURBS interpolation function. The unit enables reading, as CL (cutter location) data, tool control point vector data and tool axis vector data, along a machining direction on a workpiece coordinate system for a curved surface, obtaining feed rates therefor, and calculation by conversion of the CL data into position vectors of three linear axes on a machine coordinate system, rotation angles and feed rates on the machine coordinate system so as to operate the simultaneous multiple-axis control NC machine on the basis of a machine configuration of the simultaneous multiple-axis control NC machine. The unit forms at least one NURBS curve having continuous curvature, calculates data therefor and converts the NURBS curve into NC data for NURBS interpolation.

摘要： The present invention relate to a digital broadcast system, and it is an object of the invention to record contents quickly in a broadcast system which implements interactivity by transmitting a set of data repeatedly, wherein a digital broadcast receiver separates a table corresponding to video images from streams in an arbitrary order and repeats the processing of memorizing the video image data to be identified in the order of obtaining the same by means of the table corresponding to the video images until all of the set of video images have been memorized. This allows for performing, in a short time, storage process of video image data broadcast for the purpose of efficient reproduction by a receiver having no storage function. Additionally, the data is available to viewers at any time after the completion of storage thereof.

摘要： A hydraulically-operated piston device installed between the frame of a structure and a vibration-resisting element provided separately from the frame varies the rigidity of the frame by changing the condition of connection between the frame and the vibration-resisting element. A valve controls the operation of the piston device and can be adjusted to change the coefficient of damping of the piston device. To obtain maximum rigidity of the frame, the piston is hydraulically locked in place. For maximum flexiblity of the frame, the piston can be hydraulically released from a locked position to move freely. Hydraulic resistance to movement of the piston can be graduated by metering the flow of oil into and out of the piston device. The coefficient of damping is a function of the metered flow of hydraulic fluid in the piston device.

摘要： A variable damping and stiffness structure is disclosed, which includes a variable damping device provided between posts, beams and braces of a structure or braces serving as variable stiffness elements and interconnecting a frame body and the variable stiffness element or the variable stiffness elements themselves. Not only the unreasonance property, but also the damping property of the structure are compositely judged by a computer on the basis of information obtained from sensors with respect to disturbances such as earthquake and wind to control the connecting condition of the variable damping device, whereby both the unresonance property and the damping property are controlled to reduce the response amount of the structure. Otherwise, the variable damping device is controlled by the judgement of only the damping property.

摘要： A digital broadcasting system includes an authoring apparatus and a transmission apparatus. The authoring apparatus generates event information, which defines an event message that should be transmitted immediately after an operator's instruction to transmit the event message is received, and adds the event information to a content. The authoring apparatus then extracts the event information from the content by referring to tag information and transfers the extracted event information to the transmission apparatus. The transmission apparatus stores the event message defined by the event information transferred from the authoring apparatus. According to an operator's instruction to transmit the event message, the transmission apparatus issues the event message, and multiplexes and transmits the issued event message and the content.
