摘要: An input device of a multimedia board inputs lecturer-written information that a lecturer writes on a display page. An information processor sends the lecturer-written information input by the input device to a plurality of information terminals. A reader/writer of each of the plurality of information terminals reads out textbook information from a recording medium recording the textbook information representing contents of a textbook. A display device displays the read textbook information and the lecturer-written information supplied from the information processor, which are superimposed one on top of the other. The reader/writer records the textbook information and lecturer-written information, which are displayed by the display device, as a single file on the recording medium.

摘要: An image processing system which efficiently generates a desired special effect with a simple circuit. In order to add special effects to a given source picture, a target area specifying unit first specifies a target area, as part of the given source picture, which is to be subjected to a special effect generation process. The source image is coded by an image data coding unit, and the resultant coded data is then modified by a target data relocation unit, Here, part of the coded data, or target data in the target area, is extracted and relocated from its original field to a different field of the coded data. An image data transmission unit transmits the coded bitstream which contains the relocated target data. At the receiving ends, a target data extraction unit extracts the target data from the received coded bitstream, which is then saved into a target data storage unit. A data reproduction unit reproduces the original coded data or imperfect coded data from the received data, where the latter lacks the target data. The data decoding unit decodes the coded data or the imperfect coded data to reconstruct a picture.

摘要: A dynamic image encoding method and an apparatus therefor which apply to a hierarchical motion vector detection process using an SDRAM frame memory. A precedent process is executed sequentially for one rank of a reduced screen obtained after thinning out an input screen to memorize the result, and then a subsequent process is executed sequentially between the input screens for macro blocks of the reduced screen having provided the result of the precedent process so that the precedent and the subsequent process are repeated.

摘要: This invention provides a transparent thermal recording medium, in which the transparent thermal recording medium comprises: a thermal recording layer, which is provided on a transparent layer, consisting essentially of an electron-donating chromophoric compound, an electron-accepting compound and binder resin; and a further-provided protective layer having an approximately equal refractive index to the refractive index of the thermal recording layer, wherein the binder resin is a compound having a group selected from a hydroxyl group and a carboxyl group. The transparent thermal recording medium can be effectively used for a block copy film, on which an image is formed, for plate-making, particularly, in photogravure, offset printing and screen process printing, because the transparent thermal recording medium has a contrast of light transmission factors between a color-imaging portion and a non-imaging portion, in which the contrast is not less than 50% at a wavelength ranging from 370 nm to 450 nm.

摘要: An electrophotographic apapratus of the type in which a photosensitive member is charged by atmospheric discharge, is equipped with an air filter including a substrate and a catalyst layer formed on the substrate including at least three components of CuO, MnO.sub.2 and a water-soluble polymer. The catalyst layer shows a reactivity with NOx and the water-soluble polymer traps the resultant HNO.sub.3 while retaining a high ozone removing efficiency, whereby the apparatus can show excellent electrophotographic performances even after successive use while preventing deterioration due to ozone, NOx and HNO.sub.3 produced by the atmospheric discharge.
