    摘要: A raster distortion correction and deflection circuit arrangement includes a deflection coil adapted to be mounted on a cathode ray tube, a horizontal deflection coil driving circuit for passing a current of saw-tooth waveform of a horizontal deflection period through a horizontal deflection coil constituting the deflection coil, a flyback transformer the primary winding of which is connected between a power supply and an output terminal of the horizontal deflection coil driving circuit, an S-correction capacitor connected in series with the horizontal deflection coil, and an anode voltage detection circuit for detecting variations in an anode voltage of the cathode ray tube which is a secondary winding output of the flyback transformer. A raster distortion correction current based on an output voltage of the anode voltage detection circuit is injected into a connection point of the horizontal deflection coil and the S-correction capacitor. A signal from a signal detection circuit for ABL connected to the flyback transformer can be employed together with an output of the anode voltage detection circuit or in substitution for it for generating the raster distortion correction current.

    摘要: A light scanning device has a light deflector for deflecting a light beam in a scanning mode which is outputted by a light source, and a scanning lens for compensating or reducing an amount of shift in scanning position which is due to the error of the light deflector. The device also forms an image of the light beam thus deflected. At least one surface of the scanning lens is non-arcuate when a section is taken with a plane which is perpendicular to the surface scanned with the light beam and which contains the normal of the section taken with the surface. Owing to this construction, the light scanning device is suitable for a high precision laser printer.

    摘要: A laser scanner which includes a rotary polyhedral mirror for scanning a light beam from a laser light source, and an F.theta. lens system which includes first and second lenses through which the light beam is radiated onto a scanning plane. The first lens of the F.theta. lens system is provided on the rotary polyhedral mirror side and is constructed with a joined lens, to increase the degree of design of the first lens. This design freedom for the F.theta. lens system improves the F.theta. characteristic (i.e., characteristic of displacement on a scanning plane), the field curvature characteristic (i.e., characteristic of image defocusing on the scanning plane) and similar problems.

The backlight includes: plural light-source units each including a combination of a LED emitting light in a direction parallel to a display surface of the panel, a wiring board mounted with the LED, and a light-guide plate having translucency for guiding the LED light toward the panel; a metal chassis supporting the light-source units; and a thermally conductive sheet tightly inserted between the metal chassis and a reverse side of the wiring board opposite to the LED-mounted face. A wiring pattern is formed on the reverse side. The metal chassis and the wiring pattern located within a predetermined distance of the LED outer periphery are connected through the thermally conductive sheet.

The light deflection part repeatedly deflects and scans a light flux emitted from a light source on a scan surface. The focal point control device changes a focal distance of the variable focus optical element, which is arranged in an optical path from the light source to the light deflection part, in executing each of deflection scans, and correct an image misalignment on the scan surface due to an optical path difference for each scan angle.
