Abstract:
A communication method and apparatus are provided. The method may be applied to a terminal and a network device. In the method, the network device first sends first indication information before sending a paging message, where the first indication information is used to indicate whether at least two terminals in an RRC_IDLE state or an RRC_INACTTVE state need to receive the paging message. In this way, after each of the at least two terminals receives the first indication information, the terminal may determine, based on the first indication information, whether the terminal needs to receive the paging message. If determining that the terminal needs to receive the paging message, the terminal may detect and receive the paging message on a corresponding time-frequency resource after the network device sends the paging message.
Abstract:
This application discloses a terminal device grouping method. The method may include: First, a network device groups, one or more times according to a grouping rule, terminal devices associated with a first paging occasion PO. Then, the network device notifies all terminal devices associated with the first PO of the grouping rule and power saving signal receiving location information of each group of terminal devices. Next, the terminal device determines, according to the grouping rule, a group number of a group to which the terminal device belongs, and determines, based on the group number, a power saving signal receiving location corresponding to the group number.
Abstract:
A method includes: performing, by a terminal device, data transmission based on a configuration parameter of a currently activated first bandwidth part BWP, where the configuration parameter of the first BWP includes at least one of a first resource offset, a first bandwidth, and a first subcarrier spacing; determining, by the terminal device, a first random access resource and a second configuration parameter for random access, where the second configuration parameter includes at least one of a second resource offset, a second bandwidth, and a second subcarrier spacing; sending, by the terminal device, a random access request to the network device on the first random access resource; and receiving, by the terminal device, a random access response based on the second configuration parameter, where the random access response is sent by the network device based on the random access request.

Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a resource scheduling method, device, and communications system. The method includes: sending, by a first base station, a first data offloading proportion to a user equipment; receiving, by the first base station, a first buffer status report that is generated based on the first data offloading proportion and sent by the user equipment, where a buffered data volume included in the first buffer status report needs to be transmitted by the first base station; sending, by the first base station, uplink resource scheduling information to the user equipment based on the first buffer status report, where an uplink transmission resource indicated by the uplink resource scheduling information is used to transmit uplink data of the user equipment that should be borne by the first base station. The embodiments of the present invention are applied to resource scheduling.
Abstract:
A method for ensuring parallel data random access and a user equipment are provided, which relate to the field of communications technologies. An embodiment of the present invention includes controlling a random access sequence transmitted by a user equipment through a physical random access channel PRACH not to be sent with other uplink transmission in the same subframe, or, when a random access sequence transmitted by a user equipment through a PRACH is sent with other uplink transmission in the same subframe, controlling a priority of power transmission of the PRACH and a priority of power transmission of an uplink channel over which the other uplink transmission is performed, when power is limited.
Abstract:
A random access method and an evolved Node B (eNB) is described. The method includes: receiving, by a target evolved Node B (eNB), a handover request message including information of multiple target component carriers selected by the source eNB; determining, by the target eNB, whether to allow the multiple target component carriers selected by the source eNB; sending, by the target eNB, a handover request acknowledgement message including information about at least two determined target component carriers for the UE. If the multiple target component carriers selected by the source eNB are allowed by the target eNB, the at least two determined target component carriers include the multiple target component carriers selected by the source eNB. Otherwise, the at least two determined target component carriers include one or more newly configured target component carriers configured by the target eNB.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a security key change method and a user equipment (UE). The method performed by the UE includes: receiving a key change command message from a master eNodeB (MeNB), wherein the key change command message comprises an indication that a change of a security key between the UE and a secondary eNodeB (SeNB), and the UE is configured with a dual connectivity between the MeNB and the SeNB; updating a security key between the UE and the SeNB; performing random access to the SeNB; and sending a key change complete message to the MeNB.
Abstract:
In the field of communications technologies, a message handling method and a wireless communication network are provided. The wireless communication network includes a serving evolved NodeB (eNB), a neighbor eNB, and a Relay Node (RN). The serving eNB is coupled with the neighbor eNB through an S1 interface or the X2 interface, and the RN is coupled with the serving eNB and served by the serving eNB. The serving eNB is configured to generate a notification and send the notification to the RN, wherein the notification carries information in which a neighbor cell of a neighbor eNB is marked as a serving cell of the serving eNB. The RN is configured to receive the notification and determine that the X2 interface between the serving eNB and the neighbor eNB is available based on the information carried in the notification.
