摘要： A method, a device, and a system for controlling tunnel identifier allocation are provided. The method includes: determining whether a type of a current procedure allows a Serving Gateway (SGW) to change a Tunnel Endpoint Identifier (TEID) and/or an Internet Protocol (IP) address; and sending an modify bearer request message to the SGW, in which the modify bearer request message is used for notifying the SGW of whether the SGW is allowed to change the TEID and/or the IP address. The loss of service data packets of a user or the service interruption caused by that the SGW modifies the TEID and/or the IP address is avoided.

摘要： Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a registration area determining method, to reduce overheads for sending paging signaling to user equipment. The method in the embodiments of the present disclosure includes: determining, by a mobility management entity, that both duration in which user equipment does not access a basic registration area in a registration area of the user equipment and duration in which the user equipment does not initiate a periodic basic registration area update procedure are greater than or equal to preset duration; generating, by the mobility management entity, a new registration area for the user equipment, where the new registration area does not include the basic registration area; and sending, by the mobility management entity, the new registration area to the user equipment. The embodiments of the present disclosure further provide a mobility management entity, to reduce the overheads for sending paging signaling to the user equipment.

摘要： An embodiment of the present invention discloses a network connection re-establishment method, including: detecting whether gateway resetting occurs, and if it is detected that gateway resetting occurs, sending a network connection re-establishment trigger message to an access node when a downlink packet sent by a packet data network is received, where the access node re-establishes, according to a type of the gateway resetting, a network connection corresponding to the downlink packet, and the type of the gateway resetting is resetting of a data gateway or resetting of a serving gateway. The present invention can be used to quickly re-establish a network connection, and can be applied to a situation in which a serving gateway and a data gateway are integrated.

摘要： A method, a system, a network element, and a gateway for processing access point name restriction information are disclosed. The method includes a second mobility management element receives first access point name restriction information from a first mobility management element, and the second mobility management element obtains maximum access point name restriction information according to the first access point name restriction information, so that a packet data network gateway determines to or refuses to establish a new packet data network gateway connection. With the present invention, the second mobility management element may obtain the maximum access point name restriction information according to the received access point name restriction information. In this way, the packet data network gateway can determine to or refuse to establish a new packet data network gateway connection, therefore improving the security of private packet data network gateways.
