    摘要: A second storage system (SS2) comprises a plurality of tapes, a first storage device capable of performing random access at a rate higher than the tapes, and a virtual storage device emulating the first storage device. A first storage system (SS1) comprises a second storage device and a third storage device that has the virtual storage device mapped therewith. The SS2 reserves a storage space on the first storage device and reads data from the tape corresponding to the virtual storage device into the storage space. The SS1 performs copying between the second storage device and third storage device and, in this process, sends a command for access generated in the third storage device to the virtual storage device. When receiving the Access Command corresponding to the virtual storage device, the SS2 accesses the storage space.

    摘要: The present invention aims to protect data by using WORM (Write Once Read Many) features. On receiving an instruction to write data to a virtual tape, from a host computer 2 via an FC interface 11, a VTL controller 10 reads out WORM information and access information each corresponding to the virtual tape for which the instruction was made, from a tape management table 231 and a WORM management table 232, respectively. If the WORM setting is not made for the WORM information that was read out, or if the access information indicates writing data is allowed, then an instruction is given to a disc device 30 to write data to a magnetic disc that corresponds to the virtual tape for which the write instruction was made.

The processes are ranked according to a predetermined priority ranking.     摘要: A multifrequency antenna, which may be used as a built-in antenna of a small and thin radio communication terminal, such as a mobile telephone, is able to receive radio waves of multifrequency bands without enlarging the shape thereof. The antenna is structured using a main mode resonance frequency and a high-order mode resonance frequency of a single-frequency plane antenna with a short-circuit plate. Specifically, a radiator conductor plate in an optional shape is arranged on a ground plate, and the radiator conductor plate is connected to the ground plate via the short-circuit plate. Power is supplied to the radiator conductor plate from a power-feeding source via a feeder cable. In the radiator conductor plate, a cut portion for shifting the high-order mode resonance frequency to the location at a predetermined distance from the short-circuit plate is formed, and the high-order mode resonance frequency is shifted into a desired band by this cut portion. Consequently, the multifrequency antenna operates at least at two frequencies: the main mode resonance frequency, and at least one high-order mode resonance frequency shifted by the cut portion. Thus, a small and thin multifrequency antenna can be realized at a low cost without a concomitant increase in both the mounting area and the mounting volume of the multifrequency antenna.
