摘要： A gearmotor assembly has a motor; and a gearbox attached to the motor. The gearbox has: a case having an opening, a cover for closing the opening, and a seal for sealing the cover to the case. The seal is a continuous loop disposed about the opening and having first and second axial end surfaces forming a first seal surface and a second seal surface. Two ridges are formed on each of the two seal surfaces, each of the ridges extending along the seal surface to form a continuous ridge. The two ridges of the first seal surface are spaced from each other and pressed by the case and the two ridges of the second seal surface are spaced from each other and pressed by the cover, whereby the seal is resiliently deformed between the case and the cover.

摘要： A motor assembly comprises a gearbox (1), a motor (2) and a bushing assembly. The motor has a motor shaft (22), a worm is fixed to or formed on a worm portion of the motor shaft, which is located in the gearbox. The worm potion of a motor shaft is supported by a bushing assembly. The bushing assembly comprises a sleeve (4) and a bushing (3) fixed inside the sleeve. The bushing comprises a plurality of axial ribs (31) arranged around its outer surface. The sleeve comprises a plurality of grooves (41) in its inner surface which engage the ribs on the bushing. The sleeve also comprises a plurality of ribs around its outer peripheral surface which engage with the gearbox. The motor shaft is strengthened by the bushing assembly, and a self-locking ability of motor assembly is improved.

摘要： Systems and techniques are described for improving reproducibility in a pre-splice heat treatment. A heat treatment station is described for applying a pre-splice beat treatment to a lead end of a first optical fiber having a first modefield diameter. The heat treatment station comprises a base, and a fiber clamp for holding the first optical fiber such that a length of the lead end of the first optical fiber is positioned over a heat source mounted to the base. The heat source causes a controlled expansion of the first fiber modefield at the first fiber lead end to form an internal bridge. The heat treatment station further includes position adjustment means for adjusting the length of the first fiber lead end that is exposed to the heat source.

摘要： The use of extracts from Harungana or Vismia spp. or anthracenone compounds harunganin and vismin contained therein or isolated therefrom as hypoglycemic agents, as well as methods for obtaining the hypoglycemic agents are described. According to a preferred embodiment, the extracts are derived from H. madagascariensis. As hypoglycemic agents, the extracts or anthracenone compounds harunganin and vismin are useful for treating insulin-dependent (type I) and non-insulin-dependent (type II) diabetes.
