摘要： An exemplary patch panel includes a printed circuit board having a plurality of signal terminals for connecting to two pairs of peripheral component interconnect express (PCI-E) X1 differential signal terminals of an I/O controller hub (ICH), an interface terminal of a high definition multimedia interface (HDMI), four pairs of differential signal terminals of the HDMI, four pairs of differential signal terminals of a graphic and memory controller hub (GMCH), one of another differential signal terminal of the GMCH, and two pairs of differential signal terminals of a PCI-E X16 slot. Therefore, the ICH is connected to the PCI-E X16 slot via the patch panel for supporting a PCI-E X1 card while the GMCH is connected to the HDMI via the patch panel. A patch panel connector is provided to mount the patch panel on a motherboard.

摘要： A power control circuit for a hard disk drive (HDD) includes a first control circuit, a second control circuit, a first connector connected to a power supply, the first and second control circuits, and a second connector connected to the first control circuit and the HDD. The power supply outputs a first voltage signal and a second voltage signal to the first and second control circuits via the first connector. The first control circuit converts the first and second voltage signals into a form compatible with a timing sequence of the HDD receiving voltage signals, and outputs the first and second voltage signals to the HDD via the second connector. The second control circuit controls the first control circuit.

摘要： A method and implementation of enhancing a facial recognition process to increase the judgment confidence on identifying a person from a large image database of multiple persons. The method may include reconstructing a database of 2D images having only a small number of images with respect to each person into a database having multiple images, perhaps hundreds or thousands, of each person. The multiple images represent different camera angles or different lighting conditions. The method further includes adding an extra confidence percentage to matching images in the database when multiple images of a person are identified as matching.

摘要： A voltage regulating circuit converts a first voltage and provides the converted first voltage to a first voltage pin of a north bridge chip after receiving a control signal from a south bridge chip. A second voltage pin of the north bridge chip is connected to a voltage converting circuit for receiving a second voltage. The logic control circuit receives a control signal from the super I/O chip and outputs a first control signal to turn on the switch to connect the first and the second voltage pins together. The logic control circuit also outputs a second control signal to the voltage regulating circuit to control the voltage regulating circuit to stop providing the converted first voltage to the first voltage pin of the north bridge chip. The voltage converting circuit provides the second voltage to the first voltage pin of the north bridge chip via the switch.

摘要： An architecture and method useful for fast one-to-many image matching and image indexing. A plurality of images in a database are digitized into a plurality of descriptors. The descriptors are separated into a plurality of index groups. Index values for the images in the database are then calculated for the various index groups. An index value, for example, could be calculated as the average of the descriptors in a particular group. A source groups of images having particular index values over a particular threshold value are identified. When matching a target image to images in the database, the index values are calculated for the target image and compared to the threshold value. Source groups of images having similar index values over the threshold are then identified for further matching to the target image.
