    摘要: A secondary battery includes an electrode group 5 formed by winding a positive electrode plate 1 and a negative electrode plate 2 with a separator 3 interposed therebetween. Each of the positive and negative electrode plates 1 and 2 includes a current collector 1 and mixture layers 8 and 9 each containing an active material and formed on the surface of the current collector 1. A plurality of trenches 30 are formed in the surfaces of the mixture layers 8 and 9 of at least one of the positive electrode plate 1 and the negative electrode plate 2. The trenches 30 have curvature portions at side edges 30b and bottom centers 30a thereof.

    摘要: An optical pickup apparatus comprises a laser beam source to generate laser beam, and a laser driving circuit to drive the laser beam source. The laser driving circuit is connected to a flexible substrate and arranged in a groove or hole provided in the vicinity of that portion of an optical pickup housing, to which the laser beam source is fixed. The laser driving circuit is connected through a heat conduction member to an upper cover among upper and lower covers, the upper cover being close to the laser driving circuit. Thereby, heat generated from the laser driving circuit is conducted through the heat conduction member to the upper cover to be transferred outside the optical pickup apparatus while being scattered in an inplane direction of the upper cover.

    摘要: It is an object of this invention to increase the rigidity of a movable part and decrease its weight. An objective lens driving apparatus has an objective lens which focuses light on the recording surface of an optical disk. The objective lens is driven by focusing coils in directions approaching and receding from the optical disk and is driven by tracking coils in the radial direction of the optical disk. The objective lens is held by a lens holder. A projecting part projecting outward from the outer side surfaces of the lens holder is formed around the entire peripheral edge of the bottom surface of the lens holder.

    摘要: A cylindrical guide sleeve has a larger-diameter portion formed at an upper portion thereof, a smaller-diameter portion formed at a lower portion thereof, and a tapered portion formed therebetween. The smaller-diameter portion has an inner diameter substantially identical with or slightly larger than an outer diameter of a cylindrical battery casing. A lower spindle supports a bottom surface of the cylindrical battery casing. An upper spindle pushes a seal plate downward along an inner surface of the cylindrical guide sleeve. In this case, the seal plate is inclined in a floating condition with respect to an axial direction of the cylindrical guide sleeve and connected via a lead to an electrode assembly accommodated in the cylindrical battery casing. A guide actuator shifts the cylindrical guide sleeve upward so as to surround the seal plate in the larger-diameter portion. An upper spindle actuator shifts the upper spindle downward to cause a spherical bottom surface of the upper spindle to push and guide the seal plate toward an upper opening of the cylindrical battery casing via the tapered portion.
