A radiant heat preventive film containing a metal oxide is disposed on at least one of the external surface of the inner container or the internal surface of the outer container, wherein the radiant heat preventive film has a reflectivity of 35% or higher with a wavelength of 15 μm. When the thickness of the radiant heat preventive film is 3000 Å, the Hall mobility “x” (cm2/V·s) and the carrier concentration “y” (cm−3) of the same satisfy the following formulae: y≧−5×1020x+2×1021 and y≧−6×1018x+3×1020. When the thickness of the radiant heat preventive film is 5000 Å, x and y satisfy the following formulae: y≧−5×1020x+3×1021 and y≧−6×1018x+7×1020. Such radiant heat preventive films can have high reflectivity.

    摘要: Air fuel ratio sensor for use in an exhaust gas purification system for an internal combustion engine. The sensor has an outer and inner cover 12 and 13 for protection of lead wires 16, 18 and 19 to a detecting element 3 and a heater 5 of the sensor, a rubber seal for 2 for obtaining a sealing between the covers and the lead wires and a water repellent filter 36 for obtaining a seal between the inner and outer covers 12 and 13, while keeping an air ventilation capability of the space inside the covers. For receiving the lead wires 16, 18 and 19, the seal 2 is formed with holes 20 such that the minimum thickness between the holes and the minimum thickness between the hole and an outer surface of the seal is 1 mm or more. A crimping of the outer cover 12 is done so that a deformation of the seal 2 in a range between 10 to 20% of the outer diameter is obtained. A crimping of the outer cover 12 is further done at a first section 12A at a larger force for fixation of the outer cover 12 to the inner cover 12 and at a second section 12B at a smaller force for holding the water repellent filter 36 between the outer and inner covers. In the crimping, the crimping at the first section is completed simultaneously or earlier from the completion of the crimping at the second section.

    摘要: An air fuel ratio sensor for use in an exhaust gas purification system for an internal combustion engine. The sensor has an outer and inner cover 12 and 13 for protection of lead wires 16, 18 and 19 to a detecting element 3 and a heater of the sensor, a rubber seal 2 for obtaining a seal between the covers and the lead wires and a water repellent filter 36 for obtaining a seal between the inner and outer covers 12 and 13, while keeping an air ventilation capability of the space inside the covers. For receiving the lead wires 16, 18 and 19, the seal 2 is formed with holes 20 such that the minimum thickness between the hole and an outer surface of the seal is 1 mm or more. A crimping of the outer cover 12 is done so that a deformation of the seal 2 in a range between 10 to 20% of the outer diameter is obtained. A crimping of the outer cover 12 is further done at a first section 12A at a larger force for fixation of the outer cover 12 to the inner cover 12 and at a second section 12B at a smaller force for holding the water repellent filter 36 between the outer and inner covers. In the crimping, the crimping at the first section is completed simultaneously with or earlier than the completion of the crimping at the second section.

    摘要: An air-fuel ratio sensor of a limit current type is used for an air-fuel ratio feedback control. When the air-fuel ratio sensor is in a semi-activated state, the air-fuel ratio sensor is driven into an electromotive force generating mode by a current externally applied thereto thereby to shift an electromotive force changing point so that an air-fuel ratio at which the electromotive force changes stepwisely is shifted from the stoichiometric ratio point to a lean zone. When the air-fuel ratio sensor is in a completely activated state, the air-fuel ratio sensor is applied with a voltage to produce a limit current varying with an air-fuel ratio so that a feedback control is performed based on the advanced control theory by using a linear current output characteristics.

A flange section is formed between the sensing section and the signal output section so as to protrude in the lateral direction thereof.     摘要: Magneto-optical disk recording and reproducing devices and actuators and distance detectors for use therewith are disclosed. The mageneto-optical disk device comprises, in addition to the usual elements, a bimorph type actuator or an electromagnetic actuator for driving the magnetic head of the magneto-optical disk device. The bimorph actuator has a metallic shim whose width varies with respect to the longitudinal distance inversely porportional to the normal function of the first or the second free natural vibration mode. Alternatively, the bimorph type actuator have a recess formed on a bimorph element to expose a piezoelectric crystal which outputs a voltage corresponding to the acceleration of the vibration of the actuator; the driver circuit of the actuator reduces the driving voltage when the frequency of the voltage generated at the recess comes into the neighborhood of a higher resonance frequency of the actuator. The optical distance detector comprises a light-emitting diode and a pair of photodiodes which detects the amount of light incident thereon after being reflected at a surface of an object the distance to which is measured. The geometric parameters of the photodiodes are selected in such a manner that the output of a first photodiode decreases as the measured distance increases while the output of a second photodiode increases as the measured distance increases. Thus, the normalized differential output of the two photodiodes, from which the measured distance is determined, varies substantially linearly with respect to the measured distance. In preferred forms, the photodetectors have stepped concentric configurations so that small distances can be measured accurately and efficiently.
