摘要： A rotary head type recording and reproducing apparatus of the kind recording information codes on a tape-shaped recording medium by forming many parallel recording tracks and at the same time an additional code consisting of one byte at a predetermined position in each of the recording tracks and reproducing, by means of rotary heads, the signals from the medium, the apparatus is arranged to perform the reproduction as follows; A tracking error signal is formed by using signals reproduced from the rotary head. The tracking error signal is sampled at such a timing that enables the rotary head to reproduce the additional code. The position of the recording medium relative to the rotary head is controlled on the basis of the tracking error signal thus obtained.

摘要： An apparatus for reproducing from a recording medium a frequency-modulated audio signal which has its carrier level in a specific period determined according to the kind of information and for producing the audio signal after processing the reproduced audio signal is arranged to control the signal processing action according to the output of a detecting circuit which detects the level of a difference between the carrier level of the frequency-modulated audio signal obtained in the specific period and the carrier level obtained in a period other than the specific period or detects changes taking place in the carrier level. This arrangement enables the apparatus to process the audio signal appositely to the kind of the frequency-modulated signal thereof without recourse to any additional reproducing circuit solely for this purpose. Further, the apparatus is arranged to prevent any faulty signal processing action by nullifying as necessary the output of the detecting circuit.

摘要： A data processing device for processing data including a first data sequence indicative of the amplitude of an information signal and a second data sequence each data of which indicates the error rate of each data of the first data sequence. When each data of the second data sequence continuously shows a high error rate of a consecutive number of data of the first data sequence more than a predetermined number, the device generates data of values which are 1/a.sup.k (wherein "k" represents an integer between 1 and "n"; "a" a real number larger than 1; and "n" an integer at least 2) of a data of the first data sequence which has a low error rate and is located before or after the consecutive high error rate data of the first data sequence. The device performs data processing for muting the information signal by using these data.

A blade cover casing entirely covers the blade. A slider having left and right linear portions is attached to a rear surface of the casing. The slide guide has circular-arc portions and flaps for sandwiching the linear portions of the slider. A gap is formed between the flaps and a side surface of the body frame. By sandwiching the linear portions of the slider between a flap and the body frame, and sandwiching the circular-arc portions between the left and right linear portions, the blade cover can slide in the up-down direction with respect to the slide guide and the body frame and can rotate about the circular-arc portions.
