    摘要: A non-contact signal transmission apparatus transmits electric power and a signal in a non-contact manner via magnetic induction. The apparatus includes: a pair of annular electric power cores provided in opposing relationship to each other; a pair of electric power coils respectively provided in an annular form at one of the pair of electric power cores; and a pair of signal coils respectively provided in an annular form inside one of the pair of electric power cores. Relative permeability inside and around the signal coils is lower than relative permeability of the electric power cores.

    摘要: An apparatus is provided that can perform. distributed control for a plurality of operation units, without concentrating control in a single device. The apparatus includes a plurality of modules that respectively correspond to a plurality of operation units, each module including a communication device, a functional block setting device and a functional block connected with a corresponding operation unit. The functional block has a register that holds, in an updateable condition, control values relating to various controls of the corresponding operation unit. Each module is triggered by an operation start signal input to a start terminal of the communication device to start an operation for controlling a corresponding operation unit in accordance with each control value held in the register device.

    摘要: A surface inspection device irradiates a laser beam onto the surface of a sample, scans the surface two-dimensionally, and detects the intensities of the s-polarized light component and p-polarized light component of the reflected laser beam. RR (reflectance ratio), which is the ratio of the reflective intensities of the s- and p-polarized light components, is calculated for each position of the surface of the sample, and the two-dimensional distribution of RR on the surface of the sample is detected. The distribution width of this measured RR is compared with the natural width for a clean sample, and the surface of the sample is determined to be contaminated when, as the result of comparison, the RR distribution width diverges from the natural width. The absence or presence of contamination on the microscopically rough surface of a sample can therefore be quickly and easily determined based on the RR of the reflective intensities of the s- and p-polarized light components.

    摘要: In an optical waveguide device, a laser beam is collected to an end face of a channel waveguide, and introduced into a PLZT thin film optical waveguide. The incident laser beam, when emitted from the channel waveguide, diverges in the PLZT waveguide, permeates a thin film lens and is collimated into 0.4 Mm size. When a high frequency voltage is not applied to a comb Al electrode, the laser beam is collected after penetrating through the second thin film and emitted from the end face through the channel waveguide to form an emission beam. When the high frequency voltage is applied to the comb Al electrode, a diffraction grating is formed by an acousto-optic effect, and the laser beam is deflected. The deflected laser beam, when penetrating through the second thin film lens, is collected and emitted from the end face through the channel waveguide in adjacent with the above-described channel waveguide to form a deflected emission beam.
