摘要: A sheet passage is formed so as to extend from a sheet feed position via a printing position to a sheet delivery position, delivery rollers driven by a driving unit are disposed between the printing position and the sheet delivery position on the sheet passage, pressure rollers are disposed on one side of the sheet passage so as to be in contact respectively with the delivery rollers disposed on the other side of the sheet passage, a back sheet guide is disposed between the delivery rollers and the sheet delivery position, and a printed sheet delivered by the delivery rollers and guided by the back sheet guide is transferred to a printed sheet storage unit by sheet transfer arms. Thus, the time required to transfer the printed sheet from the delivery rollers to the printed sheet storage unit is extended so that the time between the delivery of the preceding sheet to the printed sheet storage unit and the delivery of the succeeding sheet to the printed sheet storage unit is extended to prevent the smearing of the preceding printed sheet previously stored in the printed sheet storage unit with the ink by the succeeding printed sheet.

摘要: In an engine used for a portable working apparatus such as a brush cutter, there are arranged a drive gear rotated by a starter motor, and a driven gear engaging with the drive gear and connected to a crankshaft through a nonreturn clutch. The driven gear is fixed to the crankshaft until the starter motor starts the engine and released from the crankshaft after the start of the engine and after a rotational speed of the crankshaft exceeds that of the starter motor.

摘要: An optical switch for use as a shutter for intercepting or passing light signals, such as beam lights, including a piezoelectric actuator attached at one end thereof to a base plate and at its other end to an optical shielding object for intercepting or passing over light beams, a mirror installed on a location close to the place where the piezoelectric actuator is attached to the base plate to reflect passed light beams, and the piezoelectric actuator being coupled to a source of energy. The light signals are intercepted or passed by the movement of the object due to modifications of the piezoelectric actuator, and the passed light signals are reflected by the mirror and detected by an optical detector.

摘要: An electronic card receiving device includes a card holder forming a card receiving space in the device for receiving an electronic card, a card latching mechanism for holding the electronic card in position in the card receiving space formed by the card holder, a contacting mechanism for electrically connecting the device to contacts of the electronic card held in position, and a card pushing mechanism for disconnecting the device from the electronic card and pushing it out of the device. The card pushing mechanism comprises a first ejecting plate and a second ejecting plate slidable in directions of inserting and removing the electronic card. The first ejecting plate comprises an abutting portion for applying a force to an inserted electronic card to push it in the direction of removing the card. The second ejecting plate comprises a stopper guide for obtaining an initial stable condition of the second ejecting plate, a latched condition of the inserted card and a transitional condition of the second ejecting plate during its sliding. When an electronic card is inserted into and removed from the device, an area where card terminals are rubbed by contact pins and time for such a rubbing are very small and short, so that the contact pins are scarcely worn and the card terminals of the electric card are not damaged to ensure high reliability of the system of this kind.

摘要: A test signal is recorded on a magnetic tape prior to the recording of audio signals and reproduced to allow detection of an average value of the magnitude of the reproduced test signal. A drop-out in the reproduced signal is detected if it occurs during the process of deriving the average value. If the drop-out is not detected, a difference between the average value and a reference value is detected to adjust the signal level of the recorded test signal so that the difference reduces substantially to zero. If a drop-out is detected the average value is renewed by repeating the process of recording and reproducing the test signal.
