摘要: An organic EL display apparatus comprises a plurality of pixels, each having first and second sub pixels; an organic EL element provided for each sub pixel; a data line driver; a pixel circuit; and a gate line driver. Each pixel includes a first organic EL element arranged in a first sub pixel emitting light of the same color; and a second organic EL element arranged in a second sub pixel. The light-extraction efficiency of the second sub pixel is higher than that of the first sub pixel. At least one of a plurality of transistors applies a drive current. The reference voltage line driver supplies a reference voltage to a gate terminal of the drive transistor to perform gradation displaying on the first organic EL element at a light emitting level, and to perform gradation displaying on the second organic EL element by controlling the light emitting period.

摘要: A gradation display apparatus includes: a plurality of pixels, each including a light emitting element, a driving transistor, and a storage capacitor; a data line; a reference voltage line; and a control circuit. During a one frame period, the control circuit supplies a data voltage to each of the pixels through the data line, to write the data voltage in the storage capacitor, and, thereafter, supplies to the reference voltage line respectively different first and second voltages successively in this order or reversed order, so that, in each of the pixels, a sum of a light emitting quantity of the light emitting element during a period of supplying the first voltage and a light emitting quantity of the light emitting element during a period of supplying the second voltage equals to a predetermined light emitting quantity of the light emitting element predetermined according to image data.

摘要: A light emitting element is provided to allow for resetting a shift register while keeping a frame narrow without increasing complexity of a shift register circuit. A display apparatus has a data line, a scanning line, a pixel circuit, a shift register circuit, a first power supply supplying a voltage to the shift register circuit and a second power supply supplying a voltage to the pixel circuit. One end of the scanning line is connected to an output of the shift register circuit, and writing of a data signal from the data line to the pixel circuit can be controlled by a scanning signal from the scanning line. When the first power supply is on, any one of a high-level signal and a low-level signal is input into the shift register circuit for the number of stages of the shift register, and thereafter, the second power supply is turned on.

摘要: A coin discriminating device has a detecting part, a first switching part, a storage part, and a control part. The detecting part has a first sensor including a pair of coils, and an oscillating circuit, and is supplied with voltage from a power source, and in addition, outputs a detection signal varied by a coin passing between the coils. The first switching part switches magnetic connection of the coils between an in-phase connection and a reversed-phase connection a plurality of times while the coin passes between the coils. The control part compares the detection signal from the detecting part and a reference signal stored in the storage part so as to determine authentication and a denomination of the coin.

The memory chip includes a memory circuit to be tested, and the logic chip includes an internal logic circuit and a test processor electrically connected therewith. The test processor is connected with an access terminal of the memory circuit and supplies a test signal input from an external terminal to the access terminal to thereby test the memory circuit. The test processor includes a high-speed test control circuit to adjust signal delay and supplies a test signal from the external terminal to the access terminal through the high-speed test control circuit when performing high-speed test at an actual operation speed.

摘要: An electronic paper having a display unit formed of a flexible sheet. The electronic paper comprises the display unit composed of a light-emitting device and a switching device and a drive unit composed of a drive circuit disposed at one edge of the display unit. The light-emitting device and the switching device both operate at low operating frequencies and are made of a flexible organic semiconductor. Since the hardness of the drive unit can be high, a semiconductor device having a high operating frequency such as a C-MOS is provided to the drive unit. Though the switching time is relatively long, the data setting time can be short. As a result, a sharp image can be produced.

摘要: An ink jet head includes: actuators each including a scanning electrode, a piezoelectric element and a recording electrode and arranged in a matrix pattern of n rows by m columns (where n and m are natural numbers equal to or greater than two) in terms of electrical circuit; and a driving circuit for supplying a scanning signal to the scanning electrodes for each column, while supplying a recording signal to each row of the recording electrodes in synchronization with the scanning signal. The actuators are geometrically arranged in n rows by m columns. A relay terminal, extending in a vertical direction, is provided in at least one inter-column space between vertical columns of the actuators for relaying signals from the driving circuit to the recording electrodes and the scanning electrodes. The recording electrodes and the scanning electrodes are connected to the relay terminal via lead wires extending in a horizontal direction.

The first pinion engaging with the first rack of the lens array and the second pinion engaging with the second rack of the lens array.
