Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel ligand compound, a transition metal compound and a catalyst composition including the transition metal compound. The novel ligand compound and the transition metal compound of the present invention may be usefully used as the catalyst of a polymerization reaction for preparing an olefin polymer having a low density relative to a CGC catalyst. In addition, a product having a low melt index (MI) and a high molecular weight may be manufactured using the olefin polymer polymerized using the catalyst composition including the transition metal compound.

Abstract: Provided are a polyolefin resin having two crystallization temperatures, a resin composition including the polyolefin resin, an encapsulant film, a method for manufacturing the encapsulant for an optoelectronic device, and an optoelectronic device, in which the encapsulant having high light transmittance and low haze value can be provided even under the condition of low lamination, and the resin composition including the polyolefin resin can be used for manufacturing various encapsulants for an optoelectronic device, thereby providing excellent adhesive strength with the front substrate and back sheet included in the device, especially, a long-term adhesion property and improved heat resistance.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an olefin-based polymer satisfying conditions as follow: (1) a melt index (MI, 190° C., 2.16 kg load conditions) is from 0.1 g/10 min to 10.0 g/10 min, (2) a density (d) is from 0.860 g/cc to 0.880 g/cc, and (3) T(90)−T(50)≤50 and T(95)−T(90)≥10 are satisfied when measured by a differential scanning calorimetry precise measurement method (SSA). The olefin-based polymer according to the present invention is a low-density olefin-based polymer introducing a highly crystalline region and showing high mechanical rigidity.

Abstract: An olefin-based copolymer and method of making the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the olefin-based copolymer includes a repeating unit derived from an alpha-olefin, wherein the alphas-olefin is present in the copolymer at 15 wt % to 45 wt %, wherein the copolymer has a density (d) of 0.85 to 0.89 g/cc, a melt index (MI), measured at 190° C. and 2.16 kg load, of 15 g/10 min to 100 g/10 min, and a hardness defined by Equation 1. The olefin-based copolymer has improved hardness and is highly flowable, and may show improved physical properties of tensile strength, elongation rate and flexural modulus.
