Abstract: The present invention relates to an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer having a high weight average molecular weight and narrow molecular weight distribution, and at the same time, a reduced characteristic relaxation time, thereby showing excellent physical properties, and a method for preparing the same. A resin composition having improved volume resistance and excellent light transmittance may be prepared by using such ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer. Accordingly, the ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer may be utilized in various uses in electrical and electronic industrial fields.

Abstract: An olefin-based copolymer and a method of making the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, an olefin-based copolymer has a density (d) of 0.85 to 0.89 g/cc, a melt index (MI), measured at 190° C. and 2.16 kg load, of 15 g/10 min to 100 g/10 min, a number of unsaturated functional groups (total V) per 1,000 carbon atoms of 0.8 or less, a vinylene content, and a vinyl content, wherein the vinylene content, the vinyl content and the total V satisfy (a) vinylene content/total V=0.1 to 0.7 and (b) vinylene content/vinyl content=0.8 to 1.6. The olefin-based copolymer has controlled content and kind of an unsaturated functional group in the olefin-based copolymer and thus, has high flowability, and may show improved physical properties of hardness, flexural strength and tensile strength.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a polypropylene-based composite, including (A) polypropylene, and (B) an olefin-based polymer satisfying the following conditions: (1) a melt index (MI, 190° C., 2.16 kg load conditions) is from 0.1 g/10 min to 10.0 g/10 min, (2) a melting temperature when measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) is from 20° C. to 70° C., and (3) a high temperature melting peak is confirmed at 75° C. to 150° C. when measured by a differential scanning calorimetry precise measurement method (SSA), and a total enthalpy of fusion ΔH(75) of a corresponding region is 1.0 J/g or more. The polypropylene-based composite of the present invention may show excellent impact strength.

In an embodiment, an olefin-based polymer prepared using a catalyst composition including the transition metal compound has a density of 0.91 g/cc or less.

Abstract: Provided is an encapsulant film composition; including an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer and a crosslinking aid comprises a compound represented by Formula 1 below, an encapsulant film, and a solar cell module thereof. When an encapsulant film is produced using the encapsulant film composition, the immersing time of an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer is reduced so that the economic viability of a process of producing an encapsulant film can be improved.
