    Abstract: The present specification relates to a device and method for supporting heterogeneous communication in a wireless power transfer system. The present specification discloses a wireless power reception device comprising: a power pickup circuit configured to receive, from a wireless power transfer device, wireless power generated on the basis of magnetic coupling in a power transfer phase; and a communication and control circuit configured to transmit, to the wireless power transfer device, a first random address packet including a random address of the wireless power reception device or receive, from the wireless power transfer device, a second random address packet including a random address of the wireless power transfer device via in-band communication. By performing a handover using a random address, cross reference can be prevented and security can be enhanced, and thus a BLE connection in a wireless charging system can be more safely performed.

    Abstract: A wireless power transmitter, according to one embodiment of the present specification, comprises: a power converter that transmits wireless power to a wireless power receiver and transmits the wireless power to the wireless power receiver by means of magnetic coupling with the wireless power receiver at an operating frequency; and a controller that communicates with the wireless power receiver and controls the transmission of the wireless power by using at least one of in-band communication using the operating frequency and out-band communication using a frequency other than the operating frequency, wherein the controller: transmits and receives a message to and from the wireless power receiver by using both the in-band communication and the out-band communication, wherein the controller transmits and receives a message related to detection of foreign substances between the wireless power receiver and the power converter by using the in-band communication, and transmits and receives an authentication related message to and from the wireless power receiver by using the out-band communication.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for selecting and connecting a gateway by a user device by using Bluetooth low energy technology, and a voice recognition system including a first device, a first gateway, and a voice recognition server. The first device broadcasts a voice signal to a neighboring gateway, the voice signal is forwarded to the voice recognition server by neighboring gateways, and the voice recognition server transmits a connection request message to an optimal gateway by processing the voice signal. After authentication of the voice recognition server is performed, the optimal gateway receiving the connection request message and a user device are connected to each other.
