摘要： A parametric loudspeaker utilizes nonlinearity of air relative to ultrasonic waves for producing an audio frequency having super directivity, and to thus provide a limited listening area public address system subject to a large listening area by safeguarding listeners by the provision of a framework for intercepting powerful ultrasonic waves and an acoustic filter. The depth and energy consumption of the parametric loudspeaker are reduced by the use of a reflective plate. Arbitrary directivity is obtained by the provision of a mechanism to move an ultrasonic wave radiator or the reflective plate. The parametric loudspeaker and any other loudspeaker may be combined.

In the disclosed system, each of the electronic tags contains an ID a part of which represents one of group IDs identifying groups among the electronic tags and is configured to send a response when a request sent from the communication apparatus contains a corresponding one of the group IDs; and the communication apparatus is configured to send requests one by one each of which requests contains one of the group IDs, thereby to request the electronic tags group by group to send responses to the communication apparatus, and to recreate the management information based on the responses.

摘要： A communication channel establishing method is provided that is used in a communication system including a base station that transmits a beacon on a predetermined communication channel and a communication apparatus that receives the beacon from the base station and establishes communication with the base station using the predetermined communication channel. The method involves detecting at the base station whether a main power supply has been shut off, driving the base station by a backup power supply and transmitting a power supply shutoff notification signal from the base station to the communication apparatus upon detecting that the main power supply has been shut off, storing a current communication channel of the communication apparatus when the power supply shutoff notification signal from the base station is received by the communication unit, and reestablishing communication with the base station at the communication apparatus using the stored current communication channel upon recovery of the main power supply.

The relay apparatus transmits a non-registration call. The electronic inventory tag determines whether the electronic inventory tag is registered when receiving the non-registration call. The electronic inventory tag transmits a non-registration response to the relay apparatus when determining that the electronic inventory tag is unregistered. The relay apparatus transmits non-registration detection data to the management apparatus when receiving the non-registration response. The management apparatus registers electronic inventory tag data corresponding to the electronic inventory tag in the management database based on the non-registration detection data.

摘要： An image processing device includes: (1) a scanner unit for inputting image data; (2) an image memory for storing the image data; (3) a machine control board for confirming the characteristics of the image data; (4) a binary image processing section for performing image processing with respect to the image data; (5) an operation key group for setting a processing mode of the binary image processing section; and (6) a main-CPU for managing (i) the characteristics of each image data confirmed by the machine control board and (ii) a processing mode set by the operation key group, as management information, with reference to the corresponding image data stored in the image memory. The binary image processing section performs image processing with respect to the image data according to the management information managed by the main-CPU. Since the image data is processed according to its management information managed in the management table, it is possible to manage the image processing so that appropriate image processing is applied to each inputted image data, and that time-wasting image processing is not applied to image data improperly inputted.
