An example method includes performing an open loop calibration of a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). The open loop calibration includes tuning the output oscillation frequency of the VCO to within a predetermined range of frequencies. The example method further includes determining a voltage offset and a gain error of an analog to digital converter (ADC) coupled with the phase locked loop. The example method also includes determining a gain offset of the open loop calibrated VCO using the voltage offset and the gain error of the ADC. In the example method, a signal provided by a charge pump of the PLL is adjusted based on the determined gain offset.

The example method also includes determining a set of filter coefficients based on the determined phase and amplitude imbalances of the plurality of test tones and applying the set of filter coefficients to a plurality of filters. In the example method, a phase imbalance between an I signal and a Q signal of a received wireless signal is compensated for using a first filter of the plurality of filters. Further, an amplitude imbalance between the I and Q signals of the received wireless signal is compensated for using a second filter of the plurality of filters.

    摘要: Aspects of a method and system for digital to analog conversion for power amplifier driver amplitude modulation are presented. Various aspects of the system may include circuitry that enables oversampling, within a single integrated circuit device, of each of a plurality of samples in a digital baseband signal. The circuitry may enable reduction of a number of bits, i.e., coarse quantization, in each of the oversampled plurality of samples so as to cause displacement of the quantization noise that occurred as a result of the coarse quantization. A subsequent signal may be generated based on the oversampled signal. The circuitry may enable the subsequent signal to be low-pass filtered utilizing filter circuitry in the single integrated circuit device, thereby attenuating the quantization noise displaced into the higher frequency range of the oversampled signal.

    摘要: Methods for synthesizing Salacinol, its stereoisomers, and analogues, homologues and other derivatives thereof potentially useful as glycosidase inhibitors are described. In some embodiments the compounds of the invention may have the general formula (I) or (II): The synthetic schemes may comprise reacting a cyclic sulfate with a 5-membered ring sugar containing a heteroatom (X). The heteroatom preferably comprises sulfur, selenium, or nitrogen. The cyclic sulfate and ring sugar reagents may be readily prepared from carbohydrate precursors, such as D-glucose, L-glucose, D-xylose and L-xylose. The target compounds are prepared by opening of the cyclic sulfates by nucleophilic attack of the heteroatoms on the 5-membered ring sugars. The resulting heterocyclic compounds have a stable, inner salt structure comprising a heteroatom cation and a sulfate anion. The synthetic schemes yield various stereoisomers of the target compounds in moderate to good yields with limited side-reactions. Chain-extended analogues of Salacinol are also described.

A translucency map is determined from the subsurface reflectance. A total surface reflectance and a normal map are estimated from the three-dimensional geometry and the images, and diffuse reflectance is estimated using the total reflectance. An albedo map is determined from the diffuse reflectance. The diffuse reflectance is subtracted from the total reflectance to obtain a surface reflectance. A set of bi-directional reflectance functions is fitted to the surface reflectance. Then, the set of bi-directional reflectance distribution functions, the albedo map, and the translucency map are combined to form a skin reflectance model of the face.
