    摘要: In a case frame image possessing an amount of data greater than a predetermined amount is recorded on a magnetic tape using a multiplicity of tracks, on which tracks the data has been recorded is made clear. Since the image data has an amount of data that is four times that in a frame image when photography is performed using the conventional 350,000-pixel CCD, the image data is recorded in a video recording area one frame at a time on ten tracks per frame, for a total of 40 tracks. Auxiliary-area recording data representing on which tracks the recorded image data has been recorded and the manner in which the recorded image has been partitioned is recorded in an auxiliary recording area. One frame of a still picture is produced after reference is made to the auxiliary-area recording data that has been recorded in the auxiliary recording area. An image can be reproduced promptly even though an image having a large amount of data is recorded on the recording tape upon being partitioned.

    摘要: Both a sharp print image and a natural reproduced move image can be obtained from a signal recorded on a recording medium. A recording signal, read from the recording medium, is converted into digital data and is delayed by one field. Data representing the current image in the n-th field and data representing an image in the (n-1)-th field one field ahead of the current image, are applied to a subtracting circuit, to extract a component representing moving image portions. An interpolated image for making movement correction is created from the extracted component representing the moving image portions by an interpolating circuit. Data representing the interpolated image and the data representing the current image in the n-th field are synthesized by a synthesizing circuit, to output composite data as data representing an image which has been subjected to movement correction. Since the image is subjected to the movement correction, a natural reproduced movie image smoothly moving is obtained even when the recording signal is recorded at high shutter speed.

    摘要: An imaging apparatus includes a solid-state image pickup device having an array of photosensitive cells formed in a photoconductive layer on a semiconductor substrate, an optical system for focusing an image of an object on the cell array, an optical shutter for introducing light incident to the optical system to the cell array for a desired exposure time period, a read circuit for sequentially reading out video signals from the photosensitive cells, a storage unit for temporarily storing the video signals read out by the read circuit, an operational unit for reading out the stored picture element signals from the storage unit to form color-separated component video signals, and a control unit for controlling the read circuit, the storage unit, and the operational unit in response to the shutter. The control unit causes the read circuit to read out a field of picture element signals from the cells at each of three time points included in a time period continuing from the initiation of the exposure time period to the end of an afterimage rise-time of the solid-state image pickup device. The operational unit forms three color-separated component video signals from the three fields of picture element signals stored in the storage unit.

    摘要: Photographic images are recorded by picking up a group of photographic images recorded in horizontal and vertical positions in substantially equally dimensioned frames to store in a storage medium video signals representative of the photographic images in the order of the group of photographic images. One of the many frame orientations, including the vertical and the horizontal positions, of the images recorded in the respective frames is selected. Then, out of the group of images, those which are in the selected orientation are selected. For the images in the vertical position, a magnification for forming a video signal which is smaller than that for the images in the horizontal position is set up. The selected photographic image is picked up to store a video signal representative of it in a store position of the storage medium assigned thereto. The selection, pickup and storage are performed on each of the photographic images which are in the selected frame orientation. Thereafter, the above procedure is repeated for the remaining necessary frame orientations.

The recording medium is moved with respect to the optical projection system by an X-Y moving device which is operated by an electric position signal. The electric position signal is given by a position detecting device. The position detecting device has a graphic information similar to that recorded in the recording medium and a detecting pen to point a desired spot on the graphic information and a joy stick to give the position signal to the X-Y moving device.

Imaging signals corresponding to amounts of the electric charges in the electric charge accumulating portions are read out. The imaging signals of two adjacent lines of pixel portions are added. In still-image shooting, a first operation and a second operation are performed every exposure operation. The first operation reads out the imaging signals using a pattern containing combinations of two adjacent lines, adds the imaging signals of the two adjacent lines and outputs the added image signals as a field signal. The second operation reads out the imaging signals using a pattern being obtained by shifting the pattern for the first operation by one line, adds the imaging signals of the two adjacent lines and outputs the added image signals as another field signal.
