    摘要: A contact structure for connecting a semiconductor device to a wiring electrode includes a semiconductor layer forming a part of the semiconductor device. A first contact layer of reduced resistivity covers a surface of the semiconductor layer. An insulating structure is provided on the first contact layer so as to bury the first contact layer underneath. A penetrating hole is opened through the insulating structure so as to expose a part of the first contact layer. A second contact layer of reduced resistivity is provided on the part of the first contact layer exposed by the penetrating hole. The second contact layer extends from a bottom of the penetrating hole along its side wall. A conductor layer forms the wiring electrode on the second contact layer.

    摘要: In apparatus for transferring articles through a series of processing stations, a multistroke feed mechanism is operatively connected to a feed member which reciprocates for causing the transfer of the articles. The multistroke feed mechanism comprises a set of disc cams having lobes of different radii and splined to a camshaft for joint rotation therewith and sliding motion in its axial direction. A cam follower lever is arranged for abutment against any selected one of the disc cams thereby to be oscillated through a corresponding angle. For causing the axial sliding motion of the disc cams over the camshaft, a sleeve is fitted over the camshaft and secured to the cams for axial motion therewith. Formed between the camshaft and the sleeve are a pair of opposed fluid chambers for moving the sleeve to any desired position where a selected one of the disc cams is engaged by the cam follower lever. A linkage connects this lever to the feed member so as to translate the oscillation of the lever, through the angle determined by the selected cam, into the reciprocation of the feed member over a corresponding distance.

    摘要: A backlight (illumination device) 2 of the present invention includes light sources 5, optical guides 7 and 17 for causing a surface emission of light from the light sources 5, and a diffusing plate 8 for diffusing the light emitted via the optical guides 7 and 17. The diffusing plate 8 faces light-emitting surfaces of the optical guides 7 and 17, and is provided with a light-amount adjusting section 11 made from a transflective material and for causing a reduction in amount of light transmitted therethrough. The light-amount adjusting section 11 is provided to correspond to a region which causes a bright line due to the light from the light sources 5, i.e., so that its orthogonal projection to a light-emitting region defined by the light-emitting surfaces covers a boundary between the optical guides 7 and 17. By the above, an illumination device providing high luminance uniformity can be obtained.

    摘要: In each odd-numbered frame, a game image generated by a three-dimensional image processing unit 31 is supplied to a first LCD 11, and then a game image identical to the generated game image is stored in a first VRAM 21a. Also, a two-dimensional image processing unit 37 supplies the game image stored in the immediately-preceding even-numbered frame in a second VRAM 21b to a second LCD 12. On the other hand, in each even-numbered frame, a game image generated by the three-dimensional image processing unit 31 is supplied to the first LCD 12, and then a game image identical to the generated game image is stored in the second VRAM 21b. Also, the two-dimensional image processing unit 37 supplies the game image stored in the immediately-preceding odd-numbered frame in the first VRAM 21a to the first LCD 11. With this, in a portable game machine including two display units, different three-dimensional game images can be simultaneously displayed by a single three-dimensional image processing unit on the two display units without flicker on the display screens.

With this arrangement, a motion index angle of a feeder can be taken by a large degree even though the time required for one cycle of the slide is shortened, and accordingly, the transfer time of the feeder can be set to be substantially longer so that the feed can be fed without interference with the slide. Thus, the entire pressing time can be reduced, thereby enhancing the productivity.
